Exposing Zubair Ali Zai regarding Sahi Bukhari Asslamualikum, Some of our brothers like Brother Omair take their deen from Shaykh Zubair Ali Zai despite considering Taqleed as shirk and often rely upon the research of Zubair Ali Zai in most matter of deen. This can be concluded from the articles he shares in response the stance of the school of Imam Abu Hanifa r.h. We have already warned the Ghair Mukallideens / Psuedo Salafis not to take their deen and must avoid Shaykh Zubair Ali Zai. The point I wish to showcase here is one of the many blunders of this Ghair Mukallid scholar: 1. While debating the topic of 20 rakat Taraweeh we had presented him a hadith as mentioned below. Our Hadith; Hadeeth no. 5: Sa'eed Bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "In the era of Umar and Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with them both), people would pray Twenty raka'aah Taraaweeh." Zubair Zai's Answer: May the curse of Allah be upon the liars. In ' Bayhaqi',21 the above wording "In the era of Uthmaan the people would pray Twenty-raka'aah", can definitely not be found. Therefore this is a white lie upon Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him) by the writer of the newsletter. Secondly, one of the narrators of this narration Ali Ibn Al-Jaad has been disparagingly criticized with Shi'ism. He would criticize our leader Muawiyah and other companions (may Allah be pleased with them)22. How then is it possible to present a transmitted narration from such a person regarding whom there are so many objections, in comparison to the authentic narration that can be found in the ' Muwatta' of Imam Malik? You will be surprised to know that 13 Hadith in Sahi Bukhari has this ravi(narrator) Ali Ibn Al-Jaad r.h in the chain !! This would also lead us to ignore the complete hadith book of Ali ibn Al-Jaad r.h which has more than 3400 hadith.
