Very recently Yamaha put forward its claim for bringing the world's cheapest bike to the markets, with a price of Rs 28,000. Here are the top 5 choices of bikes priced below Rs 50,000 which have captured the Indian automobile markets.
Hero CD-Dawn
Currently the cheapest offering from the the Hero Group , the CD Dawn happens to be prime offering in the 100-cc segment. The milage of the bike is around 70-kilometers to the liter, which makes it a top choice for those looking for a cheap ride the city. The resale value of this 2-wheeler is also known to be comparitiely higher as compared to the others. The price of the bike is Rs 36,000.
Yamaha Crux
Yamaha Crux currently stands as the 2nd cheapest offering in the country from the Yamaha company. In it's portfolio of Rs 35,900 price tags, it is supposed to be the highest selling bike. Apart from a better control and great milage, the customer satisfaction factor on the bike is also known to be plus point. The economy of this 2-wheeler is 75 to 78 kms to the liter.
Bajaj Platina
The Platina is from the house of the 2nd largest bike maker in the country, and currently stands at the 3rd position on the list. Silver and shine chrome graphics are its add-ons, and comes with a Rs 36,600 price tag. The company also got itself into the record books for producing 700,000 of these bikes within a very short period of time. The milage on the vehicle is 70-75 kilometers to the litre.
Yamaha Alba
Yamaha Alba with the aerodynamic cooling system is the 4th cheapest bike on our list. It has a milage of around 80 kilometeres to the liter of petrol. Sturdy tracks, broad seats and a few other features make it ideal of Indian consumers, as comes the spoke wheels. The price tag for bike is Rs 37,700
