Indian Embassy started Help Desk to Support Illegal Employee

Postby SaudiNews » Sun May 12, 2013 9:09 am

The Indian Embassy in Riyadh has a list of companies on its website offering employment for workers wanting to change jobs. This is one of a number of services outlined by the embassy yesterday to help its nationals. There is also advice provided for those wanting to go home. A press note said that the embassy continues to get requests from companies in Saudi Arabia offering employment to Indians who wish to change their jobs. This information is available on its website.

The embassy is currently studying the details of the labor concessions announced by the Saudi authorities on Friday and will provide regular advisories on any clarifications needed. The embassy also advised the Indian community to regularly check its website at http://www.indianembassy.org.sa for information published in various regional languages.

It also said that the embassy would continue to collect emergency certificate (EC) applications from those wanting to leave Saudi Arabia on exit visas. Those who have submitted EC applications would get their papers in due course.

Workers also have to provide information on whether they want to continue to work in Saudi Arabia by using the concessions announced by the Saudi authorities on Friday. The embassy will contact each EC applicant either by telephone or through volunteers. The embassy will establish EC distribution centers in various cities in the Kingdom as required.

It said the embassy in Riyadh has strengthened its 24-hour help desk with more people and more telephone lines. The telephone lines are 01-4884697, 01-4881982, 0501699879, 0501700106, 0501699895, 0501699894. The helpline numbers of the consulate in Jeddah are 02-2611483, 02-2614093 and 0596810574.

The embassy also announced that the ambassador would hold a meeting with volunteers and Indian community workers on the embassy premises at the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh at 4 p.m. on May 14. The consul general in Jeddah will hold a similar meeting with community workers at 4 p.m. on May 15. Another meeting of volunteers and community workers will be held at the International Indian School, Dammam at 6 p.m. on May 17.

The embassy thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and the authorities for the concessions. It added that the Riyadh Embassy and consulate in Jeddah are fully equipped to help the Indian community.

Daily Positive Thoughts: May 12 , 2013: A Breeze

A Breeze

Never fight. Wisdom never fights, it waits patiently, speaks positively, releases easily, sees benefit in everything and envisions a future of abundance, knowing that all needs will be met at the right moment, in the right way. If you think life is a struggle you will always be struggling. If you think life is a breeze, your attitudes and actions will convey lightness and easiness. And that's what attracts everything you need, and much more. Make today a breeze not a battle

To have love for the self means to finish the weaknesses within.

When we make a mistake we usually think about it a lot and continue to
feel guilty. The continued thought about the mistake magnifies it and
we think it is difficult to change or overcome that weakness. Like a
mother who accommodates the mistakes of the child, yet has the best
wishes for the child to be free from them, we, too, need to deal with
ourselves with love in order to finish the weakness that is working
within us. We need to recognise and work with some speciality that is
within us, which will help us overcome the weakness.

Experiencing The Light, Power And Love Of The Spiritual Sun

Experience of the Supreme Soul (God) - the Spiritual Sun as an energy that heals and cleans the self with his light, power and love:

I relax. I calm my mind and breathing... I imagine a beautiful beam of white light coming out from the centre of my forehead... It leaves me and goes beyond this room towards space... I feel that I am a sparkling star floating... detached from my body and surroundings...My consciousness is transported in that beam of light towards a space without limits... beyond the sun, the moon and the stars... It is a dimension of infinite light, beyond time... where there is silence and absolute quietness.

I see myself, a star like energy floating in that ocean of light... In that ocean there are many different kinds of waves... waves that are not of water, but rather waves of light... Some waves carry peace... others love... others happiness... I bathe in these waves... I allow myself to be carried by these waves... I feel how my mind is filling up with so much light and strength... On the screen of my mind, I can visualize where those luminous waves come from...

In front of me there appears a Being of Light that is silent and strong like the sun in a clear sky... It is a generous light... sweet... and loving... There is nothing to be afraid of... It sends me rays of light that melt my fears and weaken my resistances... It is like a magnet that takes me towards the depth of that ocean of Light... I feel that my nature is light...

All the thoughts of the physical world disappear. Only this world is real... I feel a healing energy of love that penetrates my thoughts... It penetrates my feelings... I feel bathed by that love... revitalized by that love... Love... Power... Light... All these beautiful waves... intense... come to me from this Spiritual Sun, the Supreme Soul who resides in that infinite space of silence...

Soul Sustenance

The Origin of Addictions: How to Overcome Them

Today, the number of addictions and addicts is growing fast. It seems that today human beings can become addicts of almost anything: credit cards, eating, drinking, sweets, lust, smoking, relationships, television, the internet and computer games, football, earning money, spending money, power, work, arguing, war.

In some ways, this shows the presence of an inner void (emptiness) that people try to fill with external things. While a person becomes an addict to any of the above aspects, their willpower is gradually weakened. And if one does not realize what is happening or does not put a stop to it, it is possible to fall into a spiraling series of automatic and compulsive actions that gradually limits our freedom to decide what we want to do with our lives, causing a loss of self-esteem and a state of depression, anxiety and dependency.

The origin of many addictions is due to a desperate need to solve a problem or a spiritual need (which may be a lack of respect, love, peace, attention, consideration) of a materialist form.

Here are a few examples:

In a cigarette: one looks for peace and relaxation.

In alcohol: one looks for confidence, determination and a feeling of safety.

In sugar and chocolate: one looks for love and sweetness.

In coffee and tea: one looks for energy and inner power.

(To be continued tomorrow ….)

Message for the day

An elevated consciousness brings speciality to the task being done.

Expression: As is the consciousness, so is the feeling behind the task, and therefore its quality. Just to perform action and finish the tasks at hand does not bring speciality and accuracy as much as it should. When the consciousness is special, that means before a task is performed there is a thought given both to the task and to the self, there is speciality revealed in the task.

Experience: When I am able to start each task with a special consciousness, like "I am victorious", or "I am powerful" or "this task is for the benefit of all", I am able to experience the speciality of doing the task. I am also able to increase my state of self-respect, whatever the task or however simple it maybe.

[Yaadein_Meri] THEE ALONE WE WORSHIP

As-Salam Alaikum,

THEE ALONE WE WORSHIP

[Quran - 1:5] "Thee alone we worship and to Thee alone we pray for help."

The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) has said:

[Bukhari, Book #2, Hadith #50] "Do you know what is meant by believing in Allah alone?" They replied, "Allah and His Apostle know better." Thereupon the Prophet said, "It means: 1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle. 2. To offer prayers perfectly 3. To pay the Zakat (obligatory charity) 4. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan. 5. And to pay Al-Khumus (one fifth of the booty to be given in Allah's Cause). Then he forbade them four things, namely, Hantam, Dubba,' Naqir Ann Muzaffat or Muqaiyar; (These were the names of pots in which Alcoholic drinks were prepared) (The Prophet mentioned the container of wine and he meant the wine itself). The Prophet further said (to them): "Memorize them (these instructions) and convey them to the people whom you have left behind."

[Muslim, Book #001, Hadith #0023] "I direct you to affirm belief in Allah alone, and then asked them: Do you know what belief in Allah really implies? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. The Prophet said: It implies testimony to the fact that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, establishment of prayer, payment of Zakat, fast of Ramadan, that you pay one-fifth of the booty (fallen to your lot) and I forbid you to use gourd, wine jar, or a receptacle for wine. Shu'ba sometimes narrated the word naqir (wooden pot) and sometimes narrated it as muqayyar. The Holy Prophet also said: Keep it in your mind and inform those who have been left behind."

Allah Hafiz.

[Yaadein_Meri] Daily Qur'an & Hadith 12 May 2013 (01 Rajab 1434)

English Translation of Al-Quran

[22].Surah Al-Hajj [The Pilgrimage]

Ayat 72. And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, you will notice a denial on the faces of the disbelievers! They are nearly ready to attack with violence those who recite Our Verses to them. Say: "Shall I tell you of something worse than that? The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised to those who disbelieve, and worst indeed is that destination!"

[Tafseer] When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, thou wilt notice a denial on the faces of the  Unbelievers! they nearly attack with violence those who rehearse Our Signs to them. Say, "Shall I tell you of something (far) worse than these Signs? It is the Fire (of Hell)! Allah has promised it to the Unbelievers! and evil is that destination!" Munkar. (1) a refusal to accept something offered; (2) a denial of something stated or pointed out; (3) a feeling of disapproval or active aversion, or disgust. There is irony here. 'You think Allah's revelations and Signs are distasteful to you! There will be something far more distasteful to you if you do not repent! What do you say to the inevitable Punishment?'

English Translation of Hadith

Hazrat Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [SAWW](PBUH) was asked about the deed which will be foremost to lead a man to Jannah. He [SAWW](PBUH) replied, "Fear of Allah and the good conduct.'' Then he was asked about indulgence which will admit a man to Hell (Fire) and he answered, "The tongue and the genitals.''

[At-Tirmidhi Hadith # 2004].

Lesson : as mentioned above in Surah Al-Hajj Ayat 72."The Fire (of Hell) which Allah has promised to those who disbelieve" This is also a very comprehensive Hadith. Fear of Allah really links up a man to Him, and moral refinement prevents him from falling short of his duties to people. To be sure, adherence to this two-fold practice will cause the entry of a lot of people to Jannah. Many a man, on the other hand, has a long, sharp and dangerous tongue and this causes him to pour out heretic utterances and indulge in backbiting, slandering and abusive and nonsensical talk. All this activity leads to Hell. As for genitals, an unwary and unrestrained attitude incites one to indulge in immoral pursuits. In both these cases countless people will be led into Hell. For this reason it is imperative for everybody to develop Taqwa (consciousness of Allah / fear of Allah ) and refined behaviour and shun the wickedness of tongue and genitals so that his life in the Hereafter may not be ruined.
