1) Families are the building blocks of a society
A building is just as stable as its foundation. If you want to build a high-rise house then you need a strong foundation that can support such a building. It is the same for a society, if you want to have a strong society or nation you need a foundation that can support such a society, give it strength and develop it.
As Muslims we are commended by Allah to establish a strong nation, a society that implements the rules and laws of Allah and invites other people to Islam through good examples. "You are the best nation raised up (as an example) for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah." (Qur'an, 3:110)
The Islamic Ummah was raised to command what is right and forbid what is wrong and to believe in Allah. "Let there arise from you a nation inviting to good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful." (Qur'an, 3:104)
These commands of Allah remind us that it is the obligation of a Muslim society to raise a generation that can live up to this task, and the groundwork for this task is importing the basic education of the family.
It is in the family, that a man and a woman come together to bring a new generation to life, which becomes the future community. It is here, in the family, that the next generation to run our society learns its values, ethics and behavior.
The future success of society depends on the performance of each and every single family in raising their kids, and the performance of every generation is just a reflection of the efforts of their parent's generation."
Every one of you (people) is a shepherd. And every one is responsible for whatever falls under his responsibility. A man is like a shepherd of his own family, and he is responsible for them." (Bukhari and Muslim)
The family is the basis, the backbone of society, and the backbone of the family is the division of labor between husband and wife, and the upbringing of children is the most important function of the family. This job-sharing system within the family is part of Islam. By His wisdom Allah has made the man responsible for providing for the family, an obligation which cannot be passed on to his wife under normal circumstances.
Therefore, it is the responsibility of the wife to take care of his house and their children.Such a family provides a perfect environment for the development of Islamic values and moral standards, which can be passed on to the next generation.
Many societies, today, find it more important for women to join the workforce in order to add to the materialistic gains of the nation.
Women in such societies are encouraged to neglect their duties toward their families and their children in the name of `emancipation' and `ambition'.
In such a scenario, life is based on building a career, acquiring wealth and spending it on worldly luxuries, and the task of raising kids is left to others, for example, maids or nannies. Thus, if this is the situation, how can we build a true `Islamic' society based on the true teachings of Allah and His Messenger.

2) And warn them of the day of anguish when the case hath been decided.
How about this then? The spirits (souls) which have attained supreme pinnacles, for them there is neither hell nor any reckoning, for they merge directly into Allah's "eternal bliss" !
What is then the fate of those souls which during their earthly sojourn, have not been able to reach a sacred state of "self- realization" as they were enslaved by material passions and illusions - those who lived their lives imprisoned in evils ?
The Angel of death will manifest itself...forcibly detach the soul from the body...it will be an intense moment of suffering....so tell us what happens next? where does one go from here?
Lets see what the Quran says..."the beatitude of God is greater. That is the Supreme triumph.." (Sura al Tawba - Verse 72)
Thus there are a whole series of rewards and punishments, of a spiritual order but which are beyond the senses...
Likewise there are also modes of grief and sorrow...
"And warn them of the day of anguish when the case hath been decided. Now they are in a state of heedlessness and they believe not.." (Sura Maryam - Verse 40)
When death comes to a hypocrite or those whom Allah disdains or has cursed like Kaukab Siddiqui and his rats, they will say:
"MY Lord ! send me back that I may do right in that which I have left behind" ...Allah will say to these urchins:
" BUT Nay ! it is but a word that he speaketh and behind them is a Barrier (Barzakh) until the day they are raised.." (Sura al Mu'mineen - Verse 99-100)
The Quran describes an event named "the blowing of the trumpet" and the blast will bring them before God to be Judged...
" And the trumpet is blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth swoon away. save him whom God willeth...then it is blwon a second time and behold them, standing and waiting..." (Sura al Zumar - Verse 68)
And the Quran actually goes a step further and says.." they come forth from their graves as though they were SCATTERED LOCUSTS.." (Sura al Qamar - Verse 7)
Now kindly read Sura Bani Is'rail - Verse 13-14..then read Sura Al-Imran - Verse 98...then read Sura al Nahl - Verse 89 ....then kindly read Sura al Nisa -Verse 41...then Sura al Baqara - Verse 143 ....read Sura Qaf - Verse 18...Sura al Zilzal - Verse 4-5...then Sura al Nur - Verse 24 and then Sura Tawba - Verse34-35..
In addition to taking account of man, there will be scales of Justice set up and each will receive his or her exact due...(Sura al Anbiya - Verse 47)
Also read Sura Maryam Verses 71-72 and also the quran makes a mention of a veil (Hijab) between hell and heaven...(Sura al Ar'af - Verse 46) says the eminent souls and angels i.e. Prophets and Imams will be positioned in a high place and they will witness the day of account....and so those who have abandoned the wise ones, would have died the death of infidels and perverts...it is all in the Quran and ahadith....many people simply claim they follow quaran and sunnah....lol !
