[Yaadein_Meri] Ahadith of the Day - April 23, 2013

As-Salam Alaikum,

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu.

Hadith - 1

Narrated 'Abdullah (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with him)

We were with the Prophet (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) while we were young and had no wealth whatever. So Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power."

Hadith - 2

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with the him)

I heard Allah's Apostle (May Peace,blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) saying, "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds."
