Mubina Begum, the educated poor, lives miserable life
Hyderabad, January 22:
Mubina Begum lives in a hut adjacent to Nilofer hospital along with two daughters Ayesha Siddiqua (4) Habeebunnisa (1) and a son Mohammed Rehan (2). She has done B.com from Nampally Girls' College but her degree is of no avail for her and there is no one to look after her. Her husband Mohammed Imran was a drunkard and drug addict. Excess use of drugs claimed his life.
Mubina Begum told Siasat that her son Rehan is suffering from heart disease. Doctors have diagnosed hole in his heart. Mubina's parents have also died. She has two brothers and sisters but they themselves are very poor, so there is no question of helping her.
She told that her report was also published in The Hindu English daily on January 3. She particularly thanked managing editor Siasat Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan and told that he is always busy helping poor and destitute people and strives to eliminate their problems.
