Your Excellency,
My brother Afzal Mahbub Khan, Indian national was working with Al-Sheikh Communications at Al-Khobar for 10 years as store keeper. During August 2006 some 3 robbers attacked, beaten and tied him in his store-cum-apartment and stolen mobily cards worth approximately SR. 350,000 and ran away.
Immediately in few minutes he freed himself and came out crying, shouting and complained Police and informed sponsor. Police took him in custody since at that time he is in Al-Khobar jail.
- Police did not find any culprits
- Police did not find any stolen cards or money
- No insurance of cards and not blocked cards immediately
- Court gave judgment sentence of 18 months.
- But sponsor's personal right needs money or stay in jail don't know how long
- No lawyer represented him
- Sponsor is not willing to talk any one, he needs money
- He is innocent and not involved in this robbery
- He has no money, no property, wife & 2 daughters surviving in distress
- He said it is insider's job related to sponsor
- He is in Al-Khobar jail since the incident took place, now it is 5 years
Please, we plead your assistance in this matter. I have already personally met and submitted the complain several times to Embassy and they are trying to deport him but not succeeded since 2006.
I will be visiting you during open house session on 02-Feb-12 at your disposal.

Suggestion by Imtiyaz Ahmed : As-Salam Alaykum,
May be he should approach the court, as he has finished the term of his prison sentence as meted out by the court. 2nd option is to hire a local lawyer and fight for his release. In case he dosent have money, then people should get together and donate - he should make it conditional on the lawyer, that the full payment will be given only after the release and exit of his brother from Saudi. Here we talk about what is happening to Muslims in India and other non-Muslim communities - what can we say about this beloved place.
