INTRO-INSPECTION IS NECESSARY Part 1: Aug. 19. 2011
In the name of (Allah) God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace:
In the Name of Allâh, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
We call ourselves as Muslims but we do not know what a Muslim is (there are always exceptions to the rule but when that is not indicated – it means generally …)
In the period of Mecckan life, when the Messenger pbuh commenced preaching Islam, he used to say
"Please say there is no God besides Allah s.w.t and you will be forgiven and sent to the residential gardens beneath which will be streams and fountains flowing."
The above statement was enough to make the people to surrender to Allah s.w.t. because, on those people there was no force to say it and the people did not commit to this sentence without understanding the complications it carried for them. In that society if anybody pronounced this statement, he would be in trouble because it was forbidden to negate the other lords besides Allah.
How ever who so ever committed Shadah, wanted further guidance as what next? So the reply was
"Say Muhammad pbuh is the Slave & Messenger of Allah". Still the question existed as to why believe in that fashion, so the belief of Day of Judgment was introduced.
Now to sum-up:
Allah s.w.t ,is The Lord of Universes, The only true and real Master, and only He is Worthy of worship. And to introduce Himself and to Instruct mankind Dos & Don'ts He sent many, many messengers - & Muhammad pbuh was/is also a messenger and is slave of Allah s.w.t, as other messengers were and as whole of man kind is. Now why should a man follow the command of Allah s.w.t? the reply is that Allah s.w.t is the Master of the Day of Judgment. He will reward to the obedient and punish the rebellions.
If I say I am a Muslim, then I must intro-inspect myself and see how much of a Muslim's soul is in me?
A Muslim is not allowed to tell lie! – Ask yourself how much are you fulfilling this command and more over in business or transactions you are commanded to sell your merchandise, showing the short comings or defects contained in the merchandise or products or services. Are you doing as directed?
A Muslim is not allowed to less measure/weight, or show sample of very good quality but supply inferior quality ! – How much are we obeying this command?
A Muslim is not allowed to listen Music, to perform Dance, Drink Toxics (alcohol) or smoking Toxics (Marijuana, Hashish, Bhang & etc.) or to Eat Haram Food ( Food that is itself Haram like pork, swine etc. or food bought with Illegally earned money like bribe, gambling, riba etc.)- What are we missing?
