And by Brahminists, he means, "Brahmins are not Brahminists. That is why I even appeal to Brahmins to turn Brahminists away. I ask Muslims to give up fundamentalism." The 319-page book, described by Mushrif as 'unearthing a plot to de-stabilise the constitutionally established government through systematic analysis' and published by Pharos Media and Publishing Pvt Ltd, was introduced in the market last week. '26/11a plot to kill Karkare' Mushrif, also an RTI activist, has said in his book, "Not ten, but eight Pakistani terrorists came in a rubberised dinghy to Mumbai shores. Out of them, six landed at Bhai Bhandarkar Machchimar Colony near Badhwar Park in Cuffe Parade and two sailed towards Hotel Oberoi in the same dinghy. The six who landed at Badhwar Park wreaked havoc at Taj Mahal Hotel, Cafe Leopold and Nariman House and the two who had gone towards Oberoi Hotel caused mayhem at the Oberoi and Hotel Trident. The terrorists who caused heartless bloodbath at CST, Cama Hospital and Rangbhavan lane were not from among the terrorists who had come from Pakistan, but were local terrorists. The CST-Cama Hospital-Rangbhavan lane operation was planned, scripted, directed, choreographed and executed jointly by the Brahminists involved in the nationwide terror plot and their well-wishers in the IB with the sole objective of eliminating Hemant Karkare who had unearthed the plot." Mushrif also demands re-investigation into the 26/11 case. He writes further, "Ajmal Qasab was arrested by Nepalese forces and was handed over to the Indian intelligence agencies." "Given the cordial relations between the then King of Nepal and the Brahminist forces in India, out to destroy the Indian Constitution and to establish the so-called 'Hindu Rashtra', as transpired in the investigation done by the ATS chief Hemant Karkare, the theory that the Nepalese forces arrested Kasab and handed him over to the Brahminist dominated Indian intelligence agency sounds quite logical." 'IB friends with Brahminists' In an exclusive interview to Pune Mirror, Mushrif said, "Except for Jammu and Kashmir and the Kandahar episode, there has been no Muslim terrorism in India." "The Mumbai bomb blasts of 1993 were the handiwork of criminals and not terrorists." "Whatever terrorism has been happening involves Brahminists and Intelligence Bureau has been intervening and misleading the police investigators." "The Brahminists have been engineering communal rifts in the country systematically since 1893 to divert attention of the awakening masses so that they don't realise that the Brahminists are actually exploiting them," Mushrif added. Conclusion on Karkare Elaborating on how he reached the conclusion that Karkare was not killed by terrorists from Pakistan, he said he formed his opinion on the basis of systematic analysis of newspaper reports. On being told that similar allegations had been levelled earlier by MP A K Antulay and Sudhir Sawant, his terse reply was, "Theirs was guesswork and I have done a systematic analysis of some 11 acts of terror since 2005." But why did he not try to fortify his theory with documents obtained from the investigation agencies or the courts, in his capacity as an ex-IPS officer and present-day RTI activist? Ask him this and pat comes the answer, "Because the IB does not fall under the purview of the RTI and I was sure the police would not provide information under RTI Act." Evolution of the book Explaining how the book evolved, he said he began studying communalism in 2006 after opting for voluntary retirement and came across the blast at Nanded wherein some 'Brahminists' were killed as the bomb they were assembling exploded. "Then, I began studying terrorism. While I was carrying out the study, Karkare detected the Malegaon blast case fortifying my belief. Even then, I knew he was going into danger zone. And after the November 26 terror attack, I began analysing it." Mushrif said the Brahminists need to be segregated and brought to book to eliminate the rift between Hindus and Muslims. However, when asked whether he feels his book itself would create a rift within society by repeated references to Brahminists, he said, "Brahmins are not Brahminists. That is why I even appeal to Brahmins to turn Brahminists away. I ask Muslims to give up fundamentalism." When asked if he ever felt threatened while writing the book, he said, "Of course, I felt threatened. I stopped writing anything on the topic on e-mails and I isolated myself. But all that was prior to the publishing of the book. Now that the book is out in the market, I feel relieved."
