[Yaadein_Meri] SURAH # 44: DUKHAN: Regarding Lailatul .

The Message of The Quran

translated and explained by Muhammad Asad

Surah # 44: Dukhan – Regarding Lailatul Qadr:

REVEALED at the same period as the other six chapters of the Ha-Mim sequence - that is, in the

later half of the middle Mecca period - this surah derives its customary title from the word

dukhan occurring in verse 10.

In The Name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace:

44:1

Ha. Mim.

1

CONSIDER this divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth!

2

44:3

Behold, from on high have We bestowed it on a blessed night:

3

for, verily, We have always been

warning [man].

4

(44:4) On that [night] was made clear, in wisdom, the distinction between all

things [good and evil]

5

(44:5) at a behest from Ourselves: for, verily, We have always been

sending [Our messages of guidance] (44:6) in pursuance of thy Sustainer's grace [unto man].

Verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-knowing, (44:7) the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and

all that is between them - if you could but grasp it with inner certainty!

6

44:8

There is no deity save Him: He grants life and deals death: He is your Sustainer as well as the

Sustainer of your forebears of old. (44:9) Nay, but they [who lack inner certainty] are but toying

with their doubts.

سورة القدر

97

3

There is no reality of Shub-e-Bra't.

Yesterday I displayed the facts from Mazahir-e-Haq : Jadeed (Explanation of Mishqat Shreef)

In that write-up  The learned writer has  shown that Iman Tirmdhi a.r. said that Bukhari a.r. has said that 'This Hadith is dhaif' ( means not worth trusting.)

The two Jayyad Imam say it is not reliable hadith and they were nearer to the period of Hazoor  pbuh and now Mufti Taqi Usman sahib say this Hadith is worth considering ( Today's mail of Mr. Syed Rahim)

Insha Allah  I will copy tomorrow the refutal of Shab-e-Barat in his  book   '

Muarif-ul-Quran' by Mufti Muhammed  Shafee a.r. ( father of Mufti Taqi Usmani)
