[Yaadein_Meri] Re: Beard in Islam

Assalamu alaikum

There is no difference in opinion between scholars about the length of beard,

All qualified and pious scholars (Ahle Sunnah Wal Jamaat) agreed that the

minimum length of beard is one fist, that mean cutting beard smaller than

one fist is  haraam.

Dear brothers,

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah

I am attaching herewith the PDF files of my two articles, kindly read these;

1-                The Shar'ai status of the beard.
2-                The authenticity of Hadeeth.

Some people have objected that the beard is not mentioned in the Qur'an, I had given its reply in my article "The Shar'ai status of the beard" also. For your information the word beard has been mentioned in Surah Taha verse No. 94.
Allah has not asked us through the Qur'an either clearly pr metaphorically to obey and follow only what has come in the Qur'an and not to follow what has come in Hadeeth. Rather Allah has urged us to follow His Messenger also in several verses, I had mentioned 20-25 such verses in my articles. In some verses Allah has said that obeying or following the Messenger is actually His obedience. While in some verses Allah has said. We have revealed this Qur'an so that the Messenger may explain it through his sayings and deeds.

If we start obeying and following only the Qur'an leaving behind what has come in the Hadeeth, then we can neither understand Namaaz nor Rozah nor Zakaat nor Hajj etc.

In the light of Saheeh Ahadeeth , the whole Ummat-e-Muslima since the days of the Companions of our Prophet, all Muhadditheen, all Mufassireen, all Historians, all Fuqahaas, all the Ulamaas and all the four Imams are agree that keeping beard is Waajib, however there is difference in them only in respect of its length.

Kindly read my both the above mentioned two articles, I could not translate these due to lack of time and some weakness in English language.
