[Yaadein_Meri] Today's Ahadith August 13,2012

                                                                                                                       BismillahirRahmanirRahim

AsSalaam-O- Aalaikum WaRahamtullahi WaBarakatuhu brothers and sisters,

"Rabbi Zidni Ilma - My Lord! Increase me in knowledge"

1-Narrated Hakim bin Hizam (Radi Allahu anhu):

I said to Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam),"Before embracing Islam, I used to do good deeds like giving in charity, manumitting of slaves, and the keeping of good relations with kith and kin. Shall I be rewarded for those deeds?" The Prophet (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) replied, "You became Muslim with all those good deeds (without losing their reward)"

Sahih Al-Bukhari 2:517

 Hadees:
2-Narrated Aisha (Radi Allahu anha):
With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) used to tighten his waist-belt (i.e. hard work) and used to offer Salat all the night, and used to keep his family awake for the Salat."
Sahih Al-Bukhari 3:241

3-Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu anhu):
The Prophet (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) used to perform I'tikaf every year in the month of Ramadan for ten days, and when it was the year of his death, he stayed in I'tikaf for twenty days.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 3:260

4-Narrated Anas (Radi Allahu anhu):
Abu Bakr (Radi Allahu anhu) wrote to me what was made compulsory by Allah's Messenger (SalAllahu alaihi wasallam) and that was regarding payment of Zakat and there was mentioned in it. Neither property of different people should be gathered together nor the joint property should be split for fear of paying more or receiving less Zakat.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 2:530*

*If somebody owns 40 to 120 sheep, he should pay only one sheep. But if there are three persons having 40 sheep each, they are not permitted to gather their sheep together intending to pay one sheep only where-as each has to pay one sheep. Similarly, one person having 40 sheep is not permitted to divide his sheep intending not to pay the Zakat.
This Hadith may also mean that the Zakat-collector should not do the same with the intention of collecting more Zakat. He should not divide the property of one person or gather the property of different persons when collecting Zakat.
