Hyderabad: Indo-US Diabetes Research Center & Multi specialty Hospital was inaugurated on Sunday in Hyderabad. The hospital is an initiative of Indian Muslim Relief and Charities (IMRC) and Sahayata Trust. This hospital is an initiative for the poor in Hyderabad. The hospital will have facilities for dialysis, 24 hours diabetic assistance, low cost diagnostic, and an exclusive wing for women & children.  This hospital was inaugurated at 11:30 AM today; the first inauguration of the main gate was done by Maulana Syed Salman Hussain Nadwi after the dua. The second inauguration of the second and third floor was done by mayor of Hyderabad Mohd Majeed Hussain, and MIM MLA from Malakpet Ahmed Balala.  The five-story hospital has all the modern equipments; it is located in the Muslim dominated Malakpet area of Hyderabad. This hospital is specializes in varied medical and diagnostic services like diabetology, gynecology, nephrology, urology, pediatrics, orthopedics, ophthalmology, surgery, scans, labs, X-rays, and mammography, further it has a research facility in diabetics, the first to be initiated in the city. Manzoor Ghori, chairman of IMRC & Sahayata Trust spoke on the occasion of the inauguration. He said, it is a non-profit venture of his organization to the humanity and specially to the residents of Hyderabad. It is first hospital to be built by NRIs of Hyderabad, to serve their city, this hospital will also have a diabetic research facility, first in the city. He said that this hospital will provide dialysis at the cost of Rs 800-1000 where as in other hospitals it will cost more than Rs 2,500. He exclaimed that the hospital is located in the older part of Hyderabad, where majority of citizens can’t afford such kind of services. He further added that the hospital will conduct educational awareness & prevention program on many diseases specially diabetes. He expressed hope that his initiative will get full cooperation from the people of Hyderabad.  The hospital also features an exclusive wing for women & children, first of a kind in multi specialty hospital. However there is still some construction work left in the fourth and fifth floor and facilities like diabetology, orthopedic, pediatrics, gynecology will take some time to be made available to the patients. |
