It is not your fault as you yourself confirm that you have learnt from your elders or from books & neither you were present nor we were present.
What you are representing is Shia version of what you have learnt & we have our Sunni version of what we have learnt.
There is no use to debate on a subject that benefits anybody.
Why are Muslims divided? How can we unite as a single nation? If not on religious then at least on political grounds.
The World is now divided in two factions: Muslims: without recognition of any sect & the rest is Non-Muslims: without recognition of any religion leave a side their sects.
The non-Muslims want that Muslims must fight amongst themselves to further deteriorate the conditions of Muslims and help them to demoralize the Muslims.
With whom will you be?

My dear friend , Syeddana is not a title like Mister in English or Janab in Urdu , Syeds are
those on whom Sadaqah are haraam and who are the direct descendents of Rasool e Akram
(saaws) which means progeny of Fatemah Zehrah (saa) , her son and their children and
grandchildren and so on . So no one else is entitled to prefix this title .
The following are not my personal opinion ,neither I was there nor you were there, whatever we heard from our elders , whatever we read in our books and your books and whatever I came to know from the internet searches , Movies , I have formed an opinion , if some one can give better arguments , the opinion can change , but is there any CHANCE ? For 28/33 years he was an idol worshipper,never liked to change his faith . He made the beggar Abu Horairah the greatest Liar , a Governor , but beat him for his breach of trust and forced to refund 10,000 he had embezzled . He often objected on Rasool Allah's decisions , refused to go on some ghazwas and even if went remained at the rear of it and the worst thing he did was to anger the Rasool (s) when he was too sick and he said he has lost his mind .(ma'az Allah) Greatest Sin was to run away from jung e Ohud , As per Qoran's Ayet this made him an apostate and Jahunnami . Another more severe sin was a terrorist attack on the Door of Nabi's Daughter with burning torches,killing her unborn son and later causing her martyrdom due to wounds he inflicted . His senior, Abu Bakar first refused restoration of Fadak to the Lady Fatemah's gift from her Father , later realised his grave sin , repented and wrote a document to restore her right to that property . Omar bin Khattab caught him midway , snatched the document and tore it away and thrown .
