From Aalam Mohammed <aalamz@yahoo.com>

Assalaam-o-Alaikum,

The glorious last week (AKHRI ASHRAH) of RAMZAN is about to leave us, where we are expected to do our best to achieve the pleasure of Allah SWT and receive His mercy for all our acts out-of-tenet of Islam.  However, we can see that SHAITAN is keeping us away from these feelings and actions, reminding us our outstanding tasks as more important than prayers and supplications in this week.  If we give priority to these worldy task over the prescribed activities of this lovely ASHRAH then Allah SWT may also overlook us without which we cannot succeed in any things here or hereafter.  Hence, please defer all the worldy affairs till SALAT-UL-EID and seek the mercy of Allah SWT to prove ourselves that we care for our (and our family) prosperity and we are one of the MOMENEENS.

Allah Hafiz

Please donate your ZAKAT AL FITR before praying SALAAT (NAMAAZ) EID AL FITR ...

Maa-sha'Allah – JO Allah CHAAHE …. Like In-sha'Allah – AGAR Allah CHAAHE

Be it good or bad, a believer is glad-full that, it is because of The Will of Almighty God. That is why Prophet Mohammad said -

"How amazing is the affair of the believer. There is good for him in everything and that is for no one but the believer. If good times come his way, he expresses gratitude to Allah and that is good for him, and if hardship comes his way, he endures it patiently and that is better for him." Imam Muslim.

- In good times, a believer expresses Gratitude to the Will of Almighty God. He proclaims 'Maasha Allah'. It is good for him.
- In bad times,   a believer expresses Patience  to the Will of Almighty God. He proclaims 'Maasha Allah'. It is also good for him.

Please note that ZAKAT AL FITR is different than ZAKAT AL MAAL that should be donated before praying SALAAT (NAMAAZ) EID AL FITR ....

ZAKAT (ZAKAT AL MAAL): Islam ordains the regular support of the weaker section of the society. Every Muslim having an annual saving equal to 95 grams of gold or its price is required to give 2.5 percent of it to the poor. Thus, Muslims worldwide distribute Zakat to the tunes of billions of riyals that also support orphanages, Qur'anic schools and welfare centers. This is the monetary worship of Islam which has supported noble causes around the globe. Generally, people distribute Zakat in Ramadan and get double reward. SALAATUL-LAIL OR

ZAKAT AL-FITR: The Muslim community never forgets the poor on their festivals. Every well-to-do person should distribute dry foodstuff like cereals, rice, dates (price of 2 and half, or better 3 kg of wheat/rice) or their equivalent to the poor of their locality.  Thus millions of kg of foodstuff is distributed worldwide among the needy families on or before the Eid day.

EID Al-FITR: When the month of Ramadan is over, worshippers arrange a grand celebration. Attired in colorful dresses, they go for Eid prayer seeking the mercy of Allah. Prayer and thanksgiving to Allah is the main theme of all Muslim celebrations. They pray five times a day, also offer weekly prayers every Friday and then Eid prayers are held in every village, town or cosmopolitan city around the world and finally they offer the largest prayer in the shape of the Haj, the annual pilgrimage to Makkah.

Dears
How should we spend the night of Laylat al-Qadr? Is it by praying, reading Qur'aan and the Seerah (Prophet's biography), listening to sermons and lessons and celebrating that in the mosque?.
Praise be to Allaah.
Firstly:
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to strive hard in worship during the last ten nights of Ramadaan as he did not do at other times, praying and reading Qur'aan. Al-Bukhaari and Muslim narrated from 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) that when the last ten days of Ramadaan began, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) would stay up at night, wake his family and tie his lower garment tight. According to Ahmad and Muslim: he would strive hard in worship during the last ten nights of Ramadaan as he did not do at other times.
Secondly:
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) urged us to spend the night of Laylat al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward. It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever spends the night of Laylat al-Qadr in prayer out of faith and in the hope of reward, will be forgiven his previous sins."
This was narrated by the group apart from Ibn Maajah. This hadeeth indicates that it is prescribed to stay up and spend this night in prayer.
Thirdly:
One of the best du'aa's that can be recited on Laylat al-Qadr is that which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) taught 'Aa'ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her). It was narrated by al-Tirmidhi, who classed it as saheeh, that 'Aa'ishah said: I said: "O Messenger of Allaah, If I know which night is Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say?" He said: "Say: Allaahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibb al-'afwa fa'fu 'anni (O Allaah, You are All-Forgiving and You love forgiveness so forgive me)."
Fourthly:
With regard to singling out one night of Ramadaan and regarding that as Laylat al-Qadr, this requires evidence. But the odd-numbered nights during the last ten nights are more likely than others, and the night of the twenty-seventh is more likely to be Laylat al-Qadr, because of the ahaadeeth which indicate that.
Fifthly:
With regard to bid'ah (innovation), it is not permissible either in Ramadaan or at other times. It was proven that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever innovates anything in this matter of ours [Islam] that is not part of it will have it rejected." And he said: "Whoever does any action that is not part of this matter of ours will have it rejected."
With regard to the celebrations that are held on some nights of Ramadaan, we know of no basis for that. The best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad and the worst of matters are those which are innovated.
And Allaah is the Source of strength. May Allaah send blessings and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and  companions.
