السلام علیکم

سالگرہ منانا عیسائیوں کی رسم ہے۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے غیرمسلموں کی رسوم کو اپنانے سے منع کیا ہے۔ بلکہ یہاں تک کہا ہے کہ جو جس قوم کی نقل کرے گا قیامت کےروز اسی قوم کے ساتھ اٹھایا جائے گا۔

ایک اور حدیث کے مطابق قیامت کی نشانیوں میں سے ایک نشانی یہ بھی بیان کی گئی ہے کہ یہودونصاریٰ جو کچھ کریں گے مسلمان بعینہ اس کی نقل کریں گے۔اگر وہ لوگ سانپ کے بل میں جا گھسیں گے تو مسلمان بھی ان کے پیچھے سانپ کے بل میں جا گھسیں گے۔

ان غیر مسلم اقوام کی رسوم کی آمد کا راستہ نہیں کھولنا چاہیے ورنہ پھر نہ ہماری شناخت باقی رہے گی اور نہ ہی دین اپنی اصل شکل میں رہے گا۔

اپنے اہل و عیال کو سمجھائیں کہ ہمارے لیے اسوہ حسنہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ذاتِ بابرکات ہے۔کسی اور شخص کا عمل ہمارے لیے حجت نہیں ہے۔

Assalamualaikum

Ever since my husband became the member of Yaadien_Meri, my whole family use to admire your (Mrs.Rubina Yasmeen) mail. It's always full of knowledge and very religious. We have image a very pious and God loving person about you. We always wait for your e-mails. My husband and I trying to get our children towards Islamic path and your mails always help us a lot.

I want to discuss you about a problem I am having and I would need your help in that also. As I mentioned that we are trying our children towards Islamic way, my younger daughter age -9 was insisting us to celebrate her birthday (in September) with a party and we were try to convince her that this is not Islamic way and it is against the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam. Now when she came to know that you are celebrating birthday it has become very difficult for us to stop her, because she says Rubina Aunty is so religious and when people congratulating her on her birthday she is not stopping anyone, it's mean she herself is celebrating it, then it must be OK in Islam.

Please help me what should I do now or write something to my daughter which convince her and stop insisting us for birthday party.
