Walaikum Aslam,
Brother it is not a question whether you are student or not without Ahadees Mubaraka (interpretation of Quran) put you on wrong path , no body can understand true spirit of Islam without considering Ahadees Mubaraka. As an example you read Quran Majeed and start salat how can you start it without considering act(sunnat) of Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alehe Wa Allhe Waslam. Brother kindly correct yourself to proceed further.

Thank u, if u don't mind please may I know ur whereabouts and understanding of Deen and Qur'aan b4 proceed any further. I am a researcher, a PhD professor of Engineering, living in Canada since long , I taught a long time in Saudi Arabian University, and proud to b a student of Qur'aan and working on interpreting Qur'aan such a way that every one who belongs to this scientific age cud understand the worth of this Holly Book and Deen-e-Islam, I believe every thing is hidden in this Holy Book of Allah, the only thing v need, is a deep sense of exploration. If u r a conservative so-called muslim and belong/believe to any cult, then i wud rather not waste my time and ur time in futile arguments.Yes! if u r a believer of one and only one Muslim Ummah, and believe in logics then i wud b more than happy to take off with u discussing Qur'aan and Deen.
