[Yaadein_Meri] IMRAN KHAN and THOUGH-PROVOKING QUESTIONS

Until few months back, Imran Khan was a failed politician.

How come he has become so popular?

How come all media have started supporting him all of a sudden ?   Even Altaf Hussain has congratulated Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) on holding "successful" public rally in Karachi.

Who is behind this? .........

  • USA /
  • ISI /
  • Army /
  • Chief Justice /
  • Pervez Musharraf's team  /
  • Lawyers /
  • Media
  • opportunists or those disloyals to their political parties
  • Imran's own calibre, character, leadership qualities, if any
  • or really the masses?

Has Imran done anything or something extraordinary to get so much support ?  Do not  people have yet to see his performance ?

Until few days back, he had his own party, his own selected, educated and sensible / like-minded people.... He had his own vision, mission and his own people in his party.   But now, are opportunists and traitors of other parties joining Tehreek-e-Insaaf?  Does it  mean same people under new cover?  What kind of revolution do we expect from them ?  Will the traitors of other parties who have joined PTI not do mischieves in PTI to please their previous bosses and will them not leave Imran at a critical time in the future ?

Is it not thought-provoking though a new political party is the need of the hour ?   To many , Imran looks very different and far better than other politicians.   Bhutto, Mujeeb, Altaf and even Nawaz got popularity in their times but what happened to them later ?

Imran is a Punjabi (by birth) of Pushtoon origin who settled in Mianwali.   While lot of Punjabis and Pakhtoons will support him especially in Karachi, will Imran be able to do justice to Mohajirs, Sindhis, Balochis and Saraikis etc. ?

Will he be able to take bold actions against Mafias; i.e.

  • Land mafia,
  • Drug  mafia,
  • Transport mafia,
  • Water mafia,
  • Bhatta mafia
  • Target killers
  • Street Crimes
  • and illegal occupiers of plots of land

in Karachi ?.

Will he be able to provide employment on  merit basis, especially in Karachi ?

Will he be able to control Karachi's ever-increasing population and traffic due to influx or flood of people coming here for livelihood from other cities ?  What will he do to provide people with means of livelihood  in their own provinces and cities ?

If he is unable to solve Karachi's (mini-Pakistan;s) prolems, will he be able to solve any problems?

These are just a few thought-provoking and relevant questions of the time, and not a criticism against Imran Khan or his party.
