Subject: Kindness to your Wife
Allah, The Most Exalted, says:
And among His Signs is this, that He created for you wives from among yourselves, that you may find repose in them, and He has put between you affection and mercy. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who reflect.(Qur'aan 30:21)
The Noble Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is reported to have said:
"The most perfect of the believers is the best of you in character, and the best of you are those among you who are best to their wives." (Hadith-Al-Tirmidhi)
Note: The duty of every husband to be loving, affectionate and caring to his spouse. Nobody is perfect and we should always try to overlook the faults of our spouse. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) is reported to have said that " If he dislikes something in her character, he should be pleased with some other trait of hers."(Hadith-Muslim). |
