Subject: FULFILMENT OF PROMISES
ALLAH, THE MOST EXALTED says:
"And fulfil (every) covenant. Verily! The covenant will be questioned about." (Quran-17:34)
THE NOBLE MESSENGER OF ALLAH (PEACE BE UPON HIM) is reported to have said:
"Three are the signs of a hypocrite: When he speaks, he lies. When he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is trusted, he betrays his trust." (Hadith- Bukhari and Muslim)
