WHAT IS ISLAM: THE part 10/10 : The ultimate reward! Hell or Paradise
The scenes of Day of Destruction, Resurrection and Judgment
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
When a person dies the real hidden world (life of barzaq) starts right from his death. The punishment or joy starts simultaneously with it. An evil person starts getting punishment twice daily. He will be presented before the fire of hell at morning and evening and this process will continue until Qayama.( refer to Q 40:46). Azabe Qabar is a fact and we must seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave and from the Hell(Bukhari 1.795; 2.459)
Every believer has to stand before Allah face to face, singly 1:1 for his accounts. The Owner directly asks him about all his actions and deeds. How many Muslim remember this great meeting with the owner (2:46). Many Muslims seems forget this great meeting and as a result they don't fear standing before Him. The identification of these people is that when you make any dealing with them then it will end up with deception.
The difference between disbelievers and hypocrites(i.e. the so-called Muslims) is that Allah hath set a seal on the hearts & hearing of disbelievers and on their eyes is a veil(Q2:7); Whereas regarding hypocrites Allah says that they are Deaf, dumb and blind and will never return to Allah. (Q2:18).
There are two types of hypocrites: one by pretention, his heart & mind don't believe but appears to public as an obedient to God and prophet(i.e. cheating to God) and the other one becomes by actions. The major identification of a hypocrite is Fajr & Isha prayers, which are hard for him. (Bukhari 1.626). Hypocrites are Deaf, dumb, and blind at these times. They become deaf (i.e. no listen to azan but sleep deeply) and become dumb (i.e. gives no reply to Azan , supposed to reply when it is said, come to pray(haiyya al'as salah) and become blind(i.e. sleeping), as the call says prayer is better than sleep, they are supposed to go to prayer but close their eyes and sleep as blind. Therefore in the end Allah says they will never return to Him for repentance. Other identifications of hypocrites are that they follow some commandments of Allah and reject the rest of those commands which are difficult for them. The bottom line is that they don't fear God as a result they don't regret and don't like to repent & amend their characters (no taubatan nasuha) as they obey partially and never return to Allah.
Please note hypocrites are the worst beast will receive the maximum punishment and they will be in the lowest of hell.

All our knowledge regarding details of day of destruction(i.e. Qayama), resurrection (i.e. rebirth) and judgment(i.e. weighing of deeds & Questioning) is quite Metaphorical, because it relates to what the Quran describes as unseen (i.e. al-ghyb), something beyond the reach of human perception. However we try to summarize those things which the creator disclosed to us so as to increase our faith & creates God consciousness (taqwa) in us which is prime objective of this effort.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AZABE QABAR--------------Punishment daily twice
Azabe Qabar is a fact and it will be daily twice in the morning and in the evening, which can be proved from both Quran and Hadith.
Our beloved prophet Muhammad (sal'lal lahu alaih wasallam) said, "When anyone of you dies, he is shown his place both in the morning and in the evening. If he is one of the people of Paradise; he is shown his place in it, and if he is from the people of the Hell-Fire; he is shown his place there-in. Then it is said to him, 'This is your place till Allah resurrect you on the Day of Resurrection.'" (Bukhai 2.461)
As per Qruan 40:46, "It is the fire of hell before which they are presented morning and evening, and on the Day when the time of their Judgment will come, it will be commanded: "Make the people of Fir'on (Pharaoh) to enter the severest punishment."
When any person from the people of hellfire dies the angels violently pullout his soul(Q79:2) because it contains foul smell and they curse him and say "Come out, wicked soul, which was in the wicked body; come out blameworthy and be grieved by a boiling liquid, one dark and intensely cold, and other kinds of its type (Tirmidhi 1627)".
And it will be taken to heaven but the gates of heaven will not be open for him (Q7:40) and the dwellers of the sky say: There comes a dirty soul from the side of the Earth, and it should be said: Take it to its destined end, and therefore it will be returned back to earth and be kept in the sijjin with their register (book of records of deeds) (refer to Quran 83:7; 45: 28-29). Please note sijjin means a register book (As per the words of Quran) and as well as a place to keep this register, is nothing but an entry point, a main gate to hell, (Q78: 21) a prison for wicked souls and their register, and their final location in the fire of hell will be presented before them at every morning and evening.
It means the punishment is started right from the death.
On the other hand when any person among the people of paradise dies its souls contains the sweetness of its smell like scent and the angels of death gently draw out the souls of the righteous people (Q 79:2) and say: Come out, good soul, which was in the good body; come out praiseworthy and be happy with rest and provision and a Lord Who is not angry (Tirmidhi 1627). And it will be taken to the sky and the gates of heaven will be opened for him and the dwellers of the sky say: "Here comes the pious soul from the side of the Earth. Let there be blessings of Allah upon the body in which it resides" And then it is carried to its Lord. He says: Take it to its destined end. Then it will be admitted into the topmost part of heaven (illiyeen) with their register(i.e. deeds record) attested by angels (Q 83:18-21). And they say: Peace be upon you! Enter the paradise because of the good deeds you have done. (Q16: 32).
As Allah says in the Quran, to the righteous soul it will be said: "O fully satisfied soul! Return to your Rabb, well pleased with Him and well-pleasing to Him. Join My servants, and enter My paradise." (Refer to Quran 89:27-30)
It means the souls of muttaqi people will go directly to Janna and waiting for the Day of Judgment. And every morning and evening their final location in paradise will be displayed (Bukhari 2.461).
The life of barzaq starts right from death till the Day of resurrection and on the Day of resurrection their dead bodies (i.e. whatever remains in decomposed shape such as ash, dust, bones etc.) will be raised up again to life (Q22:7) from the earth (i.e. graves) and reformed in the true original shape and then Allah will return their souls(Q81:7) in it and thus life again comes to the human body for final judgment and reward (Q 36:51-52).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE SCENE OF DAY OF DESTRUCTION-----------the Qayama
THE SCENE JUST BEFORE QAYAMA
The people who will witness the Qayama will have an abundance of sustenance and lead comfortable lives.(muslim1371). The scenario of the moment of day of destruction will be same as a normal day except that the sun rises from the West. So when the sun will rise and the people will see it rising from the West they will all believe and embrace Islam but that will be the time when: (As Allah said,) 'No good will it do to a soul to believe then, if it believed not before, nor earned good (by deeds of righteousness) through its Faith.' (Q6:158)( 9.237 Bukhari)
People will be busy in buying and selling and in argument and are yet disputing among themselves in their worldly affairs (Q36:51) and it will happen without any warning (Q43:66).
As the time of Qayama comes nearer the eyes of the disbelievers will fixed stare in horror, saying, "O woe to us! We were indeed heedless of this warning; nay we were wrongdoers (Q21:98)"
THE STATE OF PEOPLE WHEN THE first TRUMPET WILL BE BLOWN
When the trumpet will be blown and he who hears it will bend his neck to one side and raise it from the other side (may be upside down). The first one to hear that trumpet will be the person who is busy in setting right the cistern meant for supplying water to the camels. He will faint and the other people will also faint.( muslim1371)
It will cause a big earthquake as a result every nursing mother will forget her nursing-babe and every pregnant female will miscarry, the people will be seen as if they were intoxicated, though they will not be drunk(Q22:1-2)
It will come to them all of a sudden and overpower them so abruptly that they shall neither be able to avert it nor shall they get any respite (Q21:40). It will be so sudden and established within a twinkling of an eye (Q16:77) in such a way that while two men spreading a garment in front of them but they will not be able to sell it, nor fold it up; and another example is that of a person when he will raise a morsel of food to his mouth but will not be able to eat it."(9.237 Bukhari). And that day every precious thing will be left unattended; the wild beasts will be brought together (for example a tiger can't eat the goat near to it on that moment.
When The Trumpet will be blown, people will neither be able to make a will, nor be able to return to their families.(Q36:50). Besides, it is the Day when the hearts will leap up to the throats (Q40:18) and they shall be like scattered moths (i.e. frail light things, subjected to no gravitational force but flying like mosquitoes). It means the people will be losing their gravitational weight as a result and they will be surging like waves on one another (Q18:99)(Allah knows better)
THE STATE OF EARTH, OCEANS AND MOUNTAINS
The trumpet will bring a big earthquake(Q56:4) the earth will be shaken to her utmost convulsion, and the earth shall bring out all her inner burdens, it means all the dead bodies will come up, then man shall say: "What is happening to her" (Q99:1-3) in surprise and in addition to that earth will be losing its gravitational force as a result everything will be lifted and crushed. The earth with all its mountains will be lifted up and crushed into pieces with a single stroke (Q69:14). It will be a violent commotion as a result the mountains will be blown away like a colorful carded wool and crushed and scattered like a fine dust (Q101:4-5; 20:105-106)), and it will crumble into heaps of shifting sand (Q73:14; 56:6) and thus the mountains will vanish as if they were a mirage. (Q78: 19). And the oceans will be set ablaze (Q81:1-7). Then the earth will be pounded to powder (Q89:21)
SITUATION OF HEAVEN, SUN, MOON AND STARS
On that day heaven (the sky as seen from earth) will burst and split asunder and it will become red like burning oil (55:37) and like molten brass (70:8). The sky shall be opened as if there were doors. On that day the sun will cease to shine; the stars will lose their luster; and the sun and moon are joined together ((Q75:10). The day shall seem flimsy (69:15-17).
ALL THOSE WHO ARE IN THE HEAVEN SHALL COLLAPSE EXCEPT ?
Besides, When the trumpet blown all that is in the heavens and the earth shall collapse except those whom Allah will please to exempt.(Q39:68) . It means all those who are living in the heavens (i.e. prophets & martyrs)(Q2:154, Tirmidhi 512, abudawood 1040) and all those who are living on earth will fall unconscious. Except may be only eight angels and Prophet Moses (alaih salam) holding the throne (refer to bukhari 9.524, 3.595, Q69:17) will be exempted from this unconsciousness and may also include the angel of trumpet (Allah knows better)
NEW FORMATION OF EARTH AND HEAVENS
Then Allah will turn the earth into a plain leveled ground without any curve or any crease (20:106-107; 14:48) and the heavens as well. Then Allah will send or He will cause to be sent rain which will be like dew and there will grow out of it the bodies of people. The rebirth stage starts from here.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
THE DAY OF RESURRECTION & DAY OF JUDGMENT
When the second Trumpet will be blown the souls will be reunited with the emerged bodies (Q81:7) as a result they will be back to life in one plain ground (79:13-14) and they will stand up and begin to look around (Muslim 1371) (Q39:68). Then it will be said: O people go to your Lord. And then the people shall be rushing out of it (Q50:44).
Each soul will come forth; with it there will be a an angel to drive and an angel to bear witness.(50:21) and they shall come forth in multitude(78:18)
Please note prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will be the first to be resurrected (i.e. emerge from the earth)(Bukhari 3.595)
That Day the mankind shall come forth from their graves like swarming locusts with downcast eyes (Q54:7) and with complete submission to the caller.
And the entire mankind will stand up, looking around (Q39: 68) and saying to each other "Oh, Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our graves". They will be told: This is what the Compassionate (Allah) had promised and true was the word of the Rasools (Q36:52)
HEADS WILL BE UPLIFTED AND GAZE FIXED AND NOT RETURNING!
The eyes will be fixedly stare in horror on that Day. People will be running forward with necks outstretched and their heads uplifted and their gaze will not return towards them and their hearts a gaping void. (refer to Q14:42-43)
DISBELIEVERS WILL EXCLAIM!
The disbelievers and the atheist who do not believe in resurrection and do not believe in the Day of Judgment and they are too arrogant to worship God, such people when they will be raised back to life they will see it all with their own eyes and they will cry "Ah, woe to us!" They shall exclaim, "This is the Day of Judgement!" And the angels will be said, yes, this is the same Day of Judgment which you used to deny".(37:20-21). Then they will cry, "This is indeed an awful Day!"(Q54:7)
And then they shall murmur among themselves: "You hardly lived ten days on earth". And the most careful estimator among them will say: "No, you stayed no longer than a day."( 20:102-104). Some of the criminals "will swear that they did not stay in this world more than an hour" but the believers will reply to them that "In fact you have stayed, according to the Book of Allah, till the Day of Resurrection and this is the Day of Resurrection: but you were not aware."(30:55)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE INITIAL SCENES OF DAY OF JUDGMENT:
On that day man will ask: "Is there any way to escape?" and he shall plead with excuses (Q75:10-15). On that Day each man shall flee from his own brother, his mother and his father, his wife and his children. For each one of them, on that Day, shall have enough concern of his own to make him indifferent to the others (Q80: 34-42).
Even a close friend will not ask of his friend, though they will see each other. To save himself from the punishment of that Day, the culprit (disbeliever) will wish to give his children, his wife, his brother, his relatives - who gave him shelter and all that is in the earth, in ransom to save himself(Q70:10-11).
And a misguided Muslims who become a wrongdoer on that Day will bite his hands saying: "Oh! Would that I had only taken the pathway alongside the Rasool! Oh! Would that I had never chosen so-and-so for my companion. He was the one who led me astray from the admonition even after it had reached me." (Refer to Q25:27-29)
Friends will become enemies to one another
On that Day, even friends will become enemies to one another with the exception of the righteous people.(Q43:67)
-------------------------------------------------------
Disbelievers' statement on the Day of Judgment
As per Quran 7:53, "Now are these people waiting for anything other than the Day of Fulfillment (Day of Judgement)? When the Day of Fulfillment will come, those who have disregarded it, will say: "Indeed the Rasools of our Rabb had come with the truth. Are there any intercessors now, who could intercede on our behalf? Or could we be sent back so that we would not do as we have done before." In fact they would have lost their souls and the things they had invented will leave them in the lurch."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE THRONE AND THE ANGELS
On the Day of Resurrection the whole earth shall be in Allah's grasp and all the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand.(Q39:67). And eight angles will be holding the throne of Allah (Q69:17) and may include prophet Moses (alaih salam ) (Allah knows better).
On that Day, the Spirit (Gabriel) and the angels shall stand in their ranks; none shall speak except the one to whom the Allah shall grant permission to speak, and he will speak straight to the point.(refer to Q78:38)
THE EARTH WILL BE SHINING WITH THE LIGHT OF RABB
The new earth will be shining with the light of her Rabb, the Book of records will be laid open, the Prophets and other witnesses will be brought in, and justice shall be done between people with all fairness: none shall be wronged. Every soul will be paid in full according to its deeds, for He knows fully well as to what they did. (39: 69-71) (also refer to 81:10)
VISION OF LORD-----who will be the fortunate one?
On that Day everybody will be able to see and hear very clearly as they come forth from graves (Q19:38) but after sometime people of hell will lose their eye sight (literally or just only for the vision of Lord) as a result their eyes will turn blue with terror and consecutively he will become a blind person and he will be debarred from the vision of God. (20:102; 20:124; 83: 10-16) (blue eye means losing of eye sight very soon and will become blind Or some people will be raised blind as stated in Q20:125 (Allah knows better).
It means all the disbelievers and the wrongdoers will not be able to see God as they will become blind literally or just debarred from the vision of God (Allah knows better).
SITUATION OF BELIEVERS
On the other hand as per the interpretation of Bukhari Hadith, believers who are not missing Fajr and Asar prayer will only be able to see God clearly in the same manner as one can see the full-moon (Bukhari 9.529; Q50:39). And those who forget the instructions of God will not be able to see God (Q20:126) and will be blind.
On that day believers will not be grieved and the angels will receive them with greetings saying, "This is your Day that you were promised."(Q21:103)
ALL MANKIND BARE-FOOTED, NAKED AND UNCIRCUMCISED.
On that day people will be resurrected and assembled bare-footed, naked and uncircumcised." Refer to Quran, which says "As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it: A promise We have undertaken. Truly we shall do it." (21.104) (Bukhari 4.656).
Besides, Allah says,. "Why not? We are able to put together, in perfect order, the very tips of his fingers." (75:4).
THE DURATION OF THIS DAY
The duration of this day may be equal to 1000 years, as Quran says "which shall turn the children grey-headed (i.e. it means a child will become old on that day(Allah knows better(the age of prophet Adam and Noah(alaihsalam) were almost a thousand years),"(73:17). Besides, a day of Rabb (i.e. time period in which Allah's decision is executed) is equal to a thousand years of our calculation (Q22:47). (Allah knows better the true duration)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE POINT OF ASSEMBLY/GATHERING
On the Day of Judgment when Allah will gather mankind all together(Q6:22) in one plain and at a single station. As Allah says in the Quran: "Each soul will come forth; with it there will be a an angel to drive and an angel to bear witness.(50:21)"
After resurrection, it will be said: O people, go to your Lord. and hence they will be rushing towards God. (20:108) Actually They will be made to stand there(Q36:51-53, Muslim 1371) and they will be questioned.
On that Day the people will follow the call of the Caller, no one will dare show any crookedness; their voices hushed before the Beneficent (Allah), and you shall here nothing but the sound of the marching feet (refer to 20:108)".
Also note Allah will gather all the first and the last (people) in one plain, and the voice of the announcer(20:108) will reach all of them, and one will be able to see them all, and the sun will come closer to them(Bukhari 4.581)
When all the people arrived at the final location then all will be kneels down waiting for their God. Every sect including nations of all prophets & their enemies and all those sects who were worshipping other gods, every single sect will be kneels down (45:30). As Quran says, "45:28-30, And thou wilt see every sect bowing the knee: every sect will be called to its Record: "This Day shall ye be recompensed for all that ye did!(also refer to Q19:68). Pl. note the people will fall on their knees and every nation will follow their prophet.( for details refer to Bukhari 6.242). And the eyes of the sinners will turn blue on that day.
----------------------------------------------------------
WHOSE IS THE KINGDOM TODAY?
Q40: 16: "The Day when they all shall come forth from their graves with nothing hidden from Allah. It will be asked: "Whose is the Kingdom today?" No one shall dare to speak, and Allah Himself will say: "It is Allah's, the One, the Irresistible.
Narrated Ibn Umar, Allah's Apostle said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will grasp the whole Earth by His Hand, and all the Heavens in His right, and then He will say, 'I am the King.' (Refer to Bukhari 9.509)(Also refer to Q25:26)
STATEMENT OF ALLAH
Allah will say: "Well! You see that you have returned to Us as We created you at first: even though you claimed that We had not fixed any time for the fulfillment of this promise of meeting with Us!"(18:48)
Furthermore, Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are Gardens with rivers flowing beneath their eternal home: (Q5:119)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
THE PROCEDURE OF JUSTICE
The book of records will be laid open, the prophets and other witnesses will be brought in
and justice shall be done between people with all fairness none shall be wronged,(39: 69-71). (Also refer to Q23:62)
Besides all those recorded deeds and witnesses, there will have witness/proof in mankind themselves (i.e. their own bodies will testify all those deeds). On that day Allah will seal their mouths while their hands will speak to Allah and their feet will bear witness to all their misdeeds.(Q36:55, 41: 20-22, Abu-Dawood, 1496)
Judgment will be based on Nation by Nation and in Groups and then
Judgment starts with the theory first come first serve basis. Therefore the umma of Adam(pbuh) will be the first to judge.
Judgment starts in groups with every community with their respective prophet. Since Allah had sent apostle to every nation and therefore judgment will be done nation by nation (Q10:47, 17:71-72, Bukhari 7.606), and secondly in groups (Q99:6). For believers the reckoning is individually 1:1 direct face to face with God but for disbelievers the judgment is group wise.
WITNESSES------- Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will be a witness
Before start of judgment Allah will call all witnesses though Allah will be enough for a witness. However. Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) and his believers will be final witnesses on the day of judgment for entire mankind( Bukhari 3.335, 3.810, 2.544; Q3:81 and Q7:172). Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will be at Lake-Fount (Kauther) on the day of reckoning as a witness against all the nations. Refer to following Hadith which is self explanatory:
Narrated Ibn Abbas in Bukhari, "Allah's Apostle said, "Nations were displayed before me; one or two prophets would pass by along with a few followers. A prophet would pass by accompanied by nobody. Then a big crowd of people passed in front of me and I asked, 'Who are they? Are they my followers?' It was said, 'No. It is Moses and his followers.' It was said to me, 'Look at the horizon.' Behold! There was a multitude of people filling the horizon. Then it was said to me, 'Look there and there about the stretching sky!' Behold! There was a multitude filling the horizon. It was said to me, 'This is your nation out of whom seventy thousand shall enter Paradise without reckoning.'" (for full Hadith refer to Bukhari 7.606)
MANKIND WILL BE REVIEWED THREE TIMES
Allah's Messenger (pbuh) as saying, "On the Day of Resurrection mankind will be reviewed three times, the first two consisting of disputing and excuses, but at the third the records of men's deeds will go quickly into their hands, some receiving them in their right hands and some in their left." (Tirmidhi 1462)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
· WHO IS THE CHIEF OF THE MANKIND ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT?
Lake-Fount (Kauther)--will be a place for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) on the Day of Judgment and He will enter into Muqame Mahmood.
All prophets are equal in rank; There is no superiority but specialty between each other. There is no distinction between one and another but Allah caused to exceed others or in other words Allah endowed with gifts some above others.
Allah's gift for Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) on the day of judgment will be a river named al-kauther, (Bukhari 9.174) its scent or its mud was sharp smelling musk, on the two banks of which there were tents made of hollow pearls, its utensils are as numberless as the stars. He will be predecessor at the kauther and a witness. Furthermore, He will be the chief of all the people on the Day of Resurrection because simply Allah has forbidden all his past and future sins and had given the permission to intercede. (Q48:2, Tirmidhi 5762, Bukhari 1.429). Every prophet except prophet Muahmmad(pbuh) will be asked about the people of fire from among his umma whether he delivered the message to his people or not. As Allah said in Q2:119; that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will not be called upon to answer about the actions of the companions of the blazing fire. (ashabul jaheem)
Besides, The specialty of prophet Muhammad(pbuh) is that he is the one to whom Allah loves, and On the Day of Resurrection he shall be the bearer of the banner of praise under which will be Adam(alaiah salam) and the others as he will be the chief of people, and he shall be the first who will cross the as-sirat bridge, and he shall be the first intercessor and the first whose intercession is accepted, and he shall be the first to rattle the knocker of Paradise, and he shall be the most honourable in Allah's estimation among those of earliest and latest times( Al-Tirmidhi 5762).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TEST OF BELIEF IN ONENESS OF GOD (I.E. TAUHEED )
And then Question session will follow
Then the people would be summoned with their idols whom they worshipped, one after another.( Muslim 83) as Quran says "54:6, "Therefore, O Prophet, let them be. On the Day when the caller will call them to a terrible event."(Also refer to Q18:52-53; 28:62-64)
As per Bukhari Hadith 6.532B, The Prophet then said, "Somebody will then announce, 'Let every nation follow what they used to worship.' So the companions of the cross will go with their cross, and the idolators (will go) with their idols, and the companions of every god (false deities) (will go) with their god, till there remain those who used to worship Allah, both the obedient ones and the mischievous ones, and some of the people of the Scripture. Then Hell will be presented to them as if it were a mirage. Then it will be said to the Jews, 'What did you use to worship?' They will reply, 'We used to worship Ezra, the son of Allah.' It will be said to them, 'You are liars, for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. What do you want (now)?' They will reply, 'We want You to provide us with water.' Then it will be said to them 'Drink,' and they will fall down in Hell (instead). Then it will be said to the Christians, 'What did you use to worship?' They will reply, 'We used to worship Messiah, the son of Allah.' It will be said, 'You are liars, for Allah has neither a wife nor a son. What: do you want (now)?' They will say, 'We want You to provide us with water.' It will be said to them, 'Drink,' and they will fall down in Hell (instead). When there remain only those who used to worship Allah (Alone), both the obedient ones and the mischievous ones, it will be said to them, 'What keeps you here when all the people have gone?' They will say, 'We parted with them (in the world) when we were in greater need of them than we are today, we heard the call of one proclaiming,(this is a long Hadith, I just took it excerpt for reference only)"
When mushrikeen failed in test of tauheed, then they will fall down and dragged on their faces towards hell by the angels who would assemble them for Hell but Allah will tell them to stop for a while for questioning as mentioned below.
As per Quran 37:22-24, "It will be commanded: "Gather all the wrongdoers, their spouses and those whom they used to worship besides Allah and show them the way to hell. When they will all be gathered and angels will start pushing them towards hell, Allah shall say: "Stop for a while, they have to be questioned:"
Therefore the Questions session will start with disbelievers and then believers and then stage of intercession will follow.
----------------------------------------------------
· THE FIRST MAN TO BE CALLED ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION
The first man to be called on the Day of Resurrection will be Adam (pbuh) who will be shown his offspring, and it will be said to them, 'This is your father, Adam.'
Allah will say on the Day of Resurrection, 'O Adam!' Adam will reply, 'Labbaik wa Sa'daik! ' Then a loud Voice will be heard (Saying) 'Allah Commands you to take out the mission of the Hell Fire from your offspring.' (Refer to Bukhari 9.575 )

· JUDGMENT OF MUJRIMEEN: INFIDELS AND MUSHRIKEEN
Questions on the day of judgment
As Allah stated in glorious Quran that it is most certainly that everyone will be questioned about all their actions(refer to Q16:93, and 102.8) but there are many without any reckoning which also include Seventy thousand of prophet Muhammad's umma shall enter Paradise without any reckoning.(Bukhari 7.606).
Judgment of mushrikeen and disbeleivers will be in groups on the other hand the judgment of believers will be individual and per person (Muslim 1386; Hadith Qudsi 6)
Question to angels--- Start of Questioning
When mushrikeen given the chance to call to their shoraka and they called them but find no answer and they will not listen to them instead there will be hostility between them and certainly they will see the penalty before them (refer to Q18:52, 28:62-64,10:28-29)
It seems after that Allah will ask the angels: refer to Quran 34:40-41, "One Day He will gather them all together and ask the angels: "Was it you that these people used to worship?" They will respond: "Glory be to You! Our tie is with You - as a protector - not with them; but they used to worship the jinns and it was them in whom most of these people believed."
Questions to the deities-------they will renounce!
From the following paragraphs it seems the deities were pious people and are believers and even if they were mere stones etc and they will affirm their faith in Allah, because, everything worships to Allah only. Take the example of people who are worshipping the graves of pious people. Those in the graves never told them to worship. It was only their fancies and desires that they worshipped, as they used to go to grave for their desires and worldly gains. And similarly prophet Jesus(pbuh) never told people to worship him.
On that Day, Allah will gather all these people together along with the deities whom they worshiped besides Allah, and ask: "Was it you who misled these servants of Mine, or did they choose to go astray themselves?" Those deities will answer: "Glory be to You! It was not befitting for us that we could take any guardian besides You, but You let them and their forefathers enjoy the comforts of worldly life until they forgot the Reminder, and thereby became worthless people."
When the deities will deny all that they profess Then Allah will tell them "you shall neither be able to avert your punishment nor shall you get any help from anywhere; and every one among you who is guilty of wrongdoing (i.e. worshipping others), We shall make him taste the mighty punishment." (Refer to 25:17-19)
Questions to "shoraka"---the corrupted Leaders/ula'ma/false gods
On that day the corrupted leaders will regret and plead for innocence and would wish that they had accepted guidance but it was too late. Please note if you follow blindly a corrupted leader it means as if you are worshipping him and making a partner with Allah.
As mentioned in Quran "They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah"(Q9:31).(also refer to Q17:36)
When this verse revealed one of the companion of our prophet named Adi bin Hatim(may Allah please with him) asked to our prophet that Jews and Christians they never worshipped their scholars(ulema), on that our prophet replied "They did not worship them, but if they made anything lawful for them, they adopted it as lawful. And when they made anything unlawful, they adopted it as unlawful for themselves." (Refer to Tirmidhi 3106, Q40:47 ; Q16:116;)
And thus this is as if they worship them, because saying "This is lawful, and this is forbidden" (Haram and Hallal) is exclusively from God and even prophet they take from Him and not from themselves.
So, following corrupted leaders is nothing but making "shoraka" (partners associating with Allah)
On that day Allah will call the people together with their shoraka and ask "Where are those whom you deemed to be My associates?"(Q28:62-64)
When Allah will separate them from one another then shoraka will disown responsibility for them saying to Allah, `Our Rabb! These are the ones whom we led astray, we ourselves went wrong, and they followed our example, because it suited them; they worshipped, not us, but their own lusts. However, we plead our innocence before You; it was not us that they worshipped. Besides, they will inform unawareness of their worship.(Q10:28-29).
Then Allah will tell the people who followed them to appeal to their "shoraka". So they will appeal to them but find no answer. They will see the punishment and wish that they had accepted the guidance.
Questions to mushrikeen to produce proof---------Hatu burhanakum
He will ask the mushrikeen to produce their proof in claiming of their joining god and about other deities besides Allah(Q28:75).
On the other hand a successful believer will be brought nearer to Allah and will be shown all his sins and he will confess his sins but Allah will hide the sins of all believers but the sins of wicked and disbelievers' will be announced publicly and the witnesses will say these are the people who lied against their Lord (refer to Bukhari 6.207 for details)
Questions to mushrikeen regarding messengers
Then Allah will call them and ask: "How did you answer Our Rasools?"(Q28:65).
They will be so confused on that Day that they will not obtain any answer from one another. In their utter confusion and despair their minds will be blank, the past will seem to them unreal and the present unintelligible, and they will not be able to consult each other, as every one's state will be the same
It seems they will not find any excuse rather they will tell lie against the messenger saying nobody had come to them. See below.
Questions to messengers
As Allah says in the Quran 10:47, "Every nation was sent a Rasool". Therefore all prophets will be questioned on the day of judgment whether they delivered the message or not except prophet Muhmmad(pbuh) because he already made a witness to Allah. Refer to Bukhari Hadith: Prophet Muhammad asked his nation "Haven't I conveyed Allah's message to you?" They said, "Yes." He said, "O Allah! Be witness. (For details refer to Bukhari 2.797). Besides, Allah has already forgiven all his past and future sins.
On the Day of Judgment all the prophets will be brought together with their nations (77:11) and they will be asked "What response were you given from your addressees?" They will say: "We have no knowledge, only You have all the knowledge of the unseen."(Q5:109).
Furthermore, Allah will ask them whether they delivered the message or not and He will demand to produce of witness if any though Allah is enough for a proof.
Such as Regarding people of Noah
As per Bukhari 4.555, Narrated Abu Said; Allah's Apostle said, "Noah and his nation will come (on the Day of Resurrection and Allah will ask (Noah), "Did you convey (the Message)?' He will reply, 'Yes, O my Lord!' Then Allah will ask Noah's nation, 'Did Noah convey My Message to you?' They will reply, 'No, no prophet came to us.' Then Allah will ask Noah, 'Who will stand a witness for you?' He will reply, 'Muhammad and his followers (will stand witness for me).' So, I and my followers will stand as witnesses for him (that he conveyed Allah's Message)." That is, (the interpretation) of the Statement of Allah: "Thus we have made you a just and the best nation that you might be witnesses Over mankind..." (2.143).(also refer to Bukhari 9.448)
Questions to Prophet Jesus (pbuh) on the Day of Judgment
As per Quran 5:116-117, "Allah will say: "O Isa (Jesus) son of Maryam (Marry), Did you ever say to the people, "worship me and my mother as gods beside Allah?" He will answer: "Glory to You! How could I say what I had no right to say? If I had ever said so, you would have certainly known it. You know what is in my heart, but I know not what is in Yours; for You have full knowledge of all the unseen."-------- I never said anything other than what You commanded me to say, that is to worship Allah, Who is my Rabb and your Rabb. I was a witness over them as long as I remained among them; but when You called me off, You were the Watcher over them and You are a Witness to everything."
Prophet Jesus (pbuh) as a witness against people of Christians,
Testimony of Jesus on the Day of Judgment about the Christians,
On the second coming of Prophet Jesus (pbuh) all the Christians will embrace Islam and consider him as an Apostle of Allah and a human being and he will be witness against them on the Day of judgment. As Quran says: 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of witness Against them." (refer to Q4.159) (also refer to bukhari 4.657)
No question to prophet Muhammad (pbuh)-------Regarding people of "bi'da" and those who call themselves as a sect such as sunni, shia etc
Refer to Bukhari 6.264, Narrated Ibn Abbas, The Prophet delivered a sermon and said, "You (people) will be gathered before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection) barefooted, naked and uncircumcised." (The Prophet then recited): 'As We began the first creation We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise We have undertaken and truly We shall do it,' " and added, "The first man who will be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. Lo! Some men from my followers will be brought and taken towards the left side, whereupon I will say, 'O Lord, (these are) my companions!' It will be said, 'You do not know what new things they introduced (into the religion) after you.' I will then say as the righteous pious slave, Jesus, said, 'I was a witness over them while I dwelt among them...(to His Statement)...and You are the Witness to all things.' (5.117) Then it will be said, '(O Muhammad)! These people never stopped to apostate since you left them.' "
Also refer to holy Quran 6: 159: "Surely those who divide the religion into sects and identify themselves as a sect, (O Muhammad), you have nothing to do with them. Their case will be called to account by Allah Himself, He will inform them as to what they did."
Further Questions to mushrikeen----- Where are those deities?
That day they will surrender and believe in tauheed
On the Day of Judgment He will humiliate them and say: "Where are those deities you associated with Me concerning whom you used to dispute with the true believers?" Those who have been given knowledge will say: "Today there will be shame and sorrow for the unbelievers," (Q16:27)
They will say, "we confess unto thee that none of us can bear witness(to anyone's having a share in thy divinity)(Q41:47),
But it is too late; believing in tauheed on the Day of Judgment will not benefit them. Allah will not listen to them in fact He will forget them after putting them in hell forever!
And it also proves from the following paragraph that judgment for mushrikeen will be in groups therefore they will reply by using the word "we" on the day of judgment.
They will say: "Our Rabb! Twice have You made us die and twice have You given us life. We now confess our sins. Is there any way out?"---------- They shall be answered: "You are facing this fate because when you were asked to believe in Allah, the One and Only, you disbelieved; but when you were asked to commit shirk (associate other partners with Him), you believed. Today judgment rests with Allah, the Supreme, the Great." (Q40:11-12)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
THE BOOK OF DEEDS OF MUJRIMEEN: INFIDELS AND MUSHRIKEEN
Allah will bring out for the mujrimeen a book spread wide open, saying: "Here is your book of deeds: read it. Today you yourself are sufficient to take your own account."(17:13-14, 18:49)
Their evil acts will be exposed publicly as mentioned in Hadith Bukhari 3.621. And from the interpretation of verse of Quran, the book of their deeds will be placed before them [it seems it will be exposed to all]. At that time the sinners will be seen in great terror because of what is recorded therein. They will say: "Woe to us! What kind of a book is this? It leaves out nothing small or large: all is noted down!" They will find all that they did recorded therein.".(Refer to Quran 18:49)(also refer to Q45:58)
Their book contains all the evil deeds and will not find any good deed as the good deeds of disbelievers will not carry any weight and it will not be acceptable. Allah will not give any weightage to the deeds of disbelievers (Q18: 105; 11: 16; 47: 28; 2:217), because they don't obey their Prophets. Therefore all disbelievers are not eligible and never admit into paradise.
On the other hand for believers the book of deeds will be either given in their right hands or into their left hands. Those who will receive in right hands will be the successful ones and those who will receive in left hands will be the losers.
Begging of criminals on the day of judgment---- Excuses
On that day the disbelievers will believe in Allah but it is too late. On that day they will hang their heads before Allah saying: "Our Rabb! We have seen and we have heard; please send us back to the world and we will do good deeds: we are now convinced."(Refer to Q32:12). They will believe therein but their belief will not benefit to them, Allah will not listen them, in fact He will forget them, therefore they will stay in hell forever.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Allah's statement to criminals
Q36: 59-64,"While to the sinners He will say: "Get aside today, you criminals! Did I not enjoin you, O children of Adam, not to worship Shaitan, who is your open enemy, and that you should worship Me which is the Right Way? Yet, inspite of this, he (Shaitan) has led a great number of you astray. Had you no common sense? This is the hell, of which you were repeatedly warned. Now! Enter in it this Day because you persistently rejected the truth."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE JUDGMENT OF THOSE WHO FORGET THE INSTRUCTIONS OF GOD
The person who forget the message of Allah though he already received it, include all those who transgress the limits set by Allah and all those who does not believe in the verses of Allah's Book, or he is the one who believe in some and reject some. He will say on that day, "O Rabb! Why have you raised me up blind here, while I was clear-sighted before?" Allah will say: "Just as Our revelation came to you and you played blind; so are you blind today." Actually they shall be debarred from the vision of their Rabb, and they will be dragged into the fire with their faces downwards, it will be said : "Feel the touch of hell!"(54:48)(i.e. waiting on their faces for other groups to come, so that all groups enter hell together at the same time). (Refer to Q20:125)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The dress of people of hell and Black faces:
After judgment the people of hell will be bound together in chains fastening to their ankles or feets and their garment will be made of tar and their faces will be covered with flames. Then the final ride of "as-sirat" will start and the people of hellfire will fall down at their respective gates of hellfire, as Allah will requite each soul according to its deeds.
Then Allah will say cast him into the hell fire and then thrust him into a chain of seventy cubits. (Also refer to 69:30-34; Q14:49-51) (Also refer to Q55:41)
Disbelievers will be driven thirsty towards hell--------through al-sirat bridge
And it will be said to the people of hell: drive the criminals to Hell like thirsty cattle are driven to water (Q19:86). It seems the journey of Hell starts through al-sirat Bridge.
Furthermore, it will be said: "Walk on to hell which you used to deny(Q77:29). It seems al-sirat Bridge is a part of Hell as it has thorns in it which catches every evil person.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE JUDGMENT OF MUSLIMS/MUNAFIQEEN/GRAVE WORSHIPPERS
Questions to those who do shirk: such as grave worshippers!
On the day of judgment, the labeled Muslims who do shrik(such as asking from graves) will deny their act of joining God(shirk). Shoraka is the plural form of sharik, it invariably real or imaginary beings of forces to whom one ascribe a share in God's divinity. This concept is utter condemnation in Islam, it relates not merely to the worship of false deities but also to the attribution of semi-divine qualities and powers to saints as well as abstract notions like wealth, power, nationality etc. to which men so often ascribe an objective influence on human destinies,(by asad)
Allah will ask the mushrikin: "Where are those deities whom you ascribed to be My partners and used to dispute with the true believers" They will have no argument but to say: "By Allah, our Rabb, we were not at all mushrik." See how they will lie against their own souls, and how the deities of their own inventions will leave them in the lurch. (Q6:22-24). (Also refer to 26: 92-101)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE SITUATION OF MUNAFIQEEN
Munafiqeen are the labeled Muslims who wear the cap of a Muslim but he becomes munafiq either by practice or by saying or by heart or he is one who believes in part of the book and reject the rest. Such as rejecting "riba" as a sin. If you pay attention on the following words of Quran 3:106 " Did ye reject faith after accepting it? It seems it is talking about all Muslims who embraced Islam but later on they rejected by practice or by pretending. There are two types of hypocrites one who reject Islam from his heart and mind and pretend to be a Muslim on the other hand another type of munafiq is the one who become munafiq by practice such as telling lies, breaking of promises and dishonesty as mentioned in Bukhari Hadith1.32.
On the Day of Judgment every believer will prostrate before Allah and there will remain those who used to prostrate before Him just for showing off and for gaining good reputation in the world. These people will try to prostrate but their backs will be rigid like one piece of a wood (and they will not be able to prostrate)( Bukhari 5.32B
Munfiqeen & murtadeen will be recognized by their faces
Munfiqeen & murtadeen will be recognized by their faces, their faces will be darken and they shall be seized by their forelocks and their feets, and they will be told "Did ye reject faith after accepting it?(Q3:106; 55:41)
The excuses of Munafiqeen and God's reply
Q39: 56-59, "lest someone should say: 'Alas! I neglected my duty towards Allah and I was one of those who mocked at His revelations.' Or lest he should say: `If Allah had guided me, I would have been one of the righteous.' Or lest he should say upon seeing the punishment: `I wish I had another chance, I would certainly be among the righteous.'" Then Allah will say to him: "My revelations did come to you; but you denied them, were arrogant and you were among the disbelievers."- On the Day of Judgement you shall see that the faces of those who uttered falsehood against Allah shall be darkened. Is there not an abode in hell for such arrogant?"
The minimum questions to Muslims/munafiqeen
As per Tirmidhi 148, Narrated AbuBarzah Nadlah ibn Ubayd al-Aslami, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: A servant of Allah will remain standing on the Day of Judgment till he is questioned about his age and how he spent it; and about his knowledge and how he utilized it; about his wealth from where he acquired it and in what (activities) he spent it; and about his body as to how he used it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
· THE JUDGMENT OF "AS'HABUL SHIMAL ?(LEFT HAND PEOPLE)
Open conversation and witnesses
THE TOUGH QUESTIONS-1: for those Muslim who love himself but not God and no devotion to God
THE SHOW-OFF MUSLIMS who does good things but not to get the good pleasure of Allah but to be praised by people. Our beloved prophet (pbuh) said: "'Anybody whose account (record) is questioned will surely be punished."( Bukhari 8.543). And read the following Hadith which is self explanatory.
Hadith Qudsi 6, The first of people against whom judgment will be pronounced on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who died a martyr. He will be brought and Allah will make known to him His favours and he will recognize them. [ The Almighty] will say: And what did you do about them? He will say: I fought for you until I died a martyr. He will say: You have lied - you did but fight that it might be said [of you]: He is courageous. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire. [Another] will be a man who has studied [religious] knowledge and has taught it and who used to recite the Quran. He will be brought and Allah will make known to his His favours and he will recognize them. [The Almighty] will say: And what did you do about them? He will say: I studied [religious] knowledge and I taught it and I recited the Quran for Your sake. He will say: You have lied - you did but study [religious] knowledge that it might be said [of you]: He is learned. And you recited the Quran that it might be said [of you]: He is a reciter. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire. [Another] will be a man whom Allah had made rich and to whom He had given all kinds of wealth. He will be brought and Allah will make known to his His favours and he will recognize them. [The Almighty] will say: And what did you do about them? He will say: I left no path [untrodden] in which You like money to be spent without spending in it for Your sake. He will say: You have lied - you did but do so that it might be said [of you]: He is open-handed. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire.(also refer to Muslim Hadith 884)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE TOUGH QUESTIONS-2: for Muslims who does not remember meeting with Allah
It appears the Judgment of all those who were not doing shirk but they forget the meeting of Allah therefore they played blind the message of Allah and were never afraid of the meeting with Allah. Also refer to Q2:46. 30:16-17
As per muslim hadith, "Then Allah will sit in judgment upon the servant and will say: O so and so, did I not honour you, make you the chief, provide you spouse and tame horses and camels for you and give you an opportunity to rule over your subjects? He will say: Yes. Then it will be said: Did you not think that you would meet Us? He will say: No. Thereupon He (Allah) will say: Well, We forget you as you forgot Us. -----Then the second person will be brought for judgment. (Allah will) say: O so and so, did We not honour you, make you the chief give you a wife subdue horses and camels for you and give you an opportunity to rule over your subjects? He will say: Yes, my Lord. He (the Lord) will say: Did you not think that you would be meeting Us? He will say: No. Then He (Allah) will say: Well, I forget you today as you forgot us. "Then the third one will be brought and He (Allah) will say to him as He said before. He (the third person) will say: O my Lord, I affirmed my faith in Thee, in Thy Book and in Thy Messenger; I observed prayer and fasts and gave charity he will speak in good terms like this as he is able to do. He (Allah) will say: Well, We shall bring our witnesses to you. The man will wonder in his mind who will bear witness for him. Then his mouth will be sealed and to his thighs, his flesh, and his bones will be asked to speak, and his thighs, flesh and bones will bear witness to his deeds. It will be done so that he will not be able to make any excuse for himself; he will be a hypocrite and Allah will be annoyed with him."(for full Hadith refer to Muslim 1386)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE TOUGH QUESTIONS-3: for Muslims who doesn't fear God and doesn't do tauba
It seems from the following it will be the judgment of an evil person who does not have any witnesses against him for his evil things. He thought that nobody would give witness against him and therefore he will challenge justice to Allah. But Allah made his own body as a self witness against himself.
As per Muslim 1387, "Narrated Anas ibn Malik, We were in the company of Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) when he smiled and said: Do you know why I laughed? We said: Allah and His Apostle (peace be upon him) know best. Thereupon he said: It was because of the (fact that there came to my mind the) conversation which the servant will have with his Lord (on the Day of Judgment). He will say: My Lord, have you not guaranteed me protection against injustice? He will say: Yes. Then the servant will say: I do not deem valid any witness against me but my own self. He will say: Well, it is sufficient to have the witness of your self against you, and that of the two angels who were appointed to record your deeds. Then the seal will be set upon his mouth and his hands and feet will be asked to speak and they speak of his deeds. Then the mouth will be set free to talk. He will say (to the hands and feet): Away with you! May the curse of Allah be upon you. It was for your safety that I contended."
It seems his hands and feet will speak openly in front of people and hence their evil deeds will be exposed and the witnesses will say against these people that they are the one who lied against their lord.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE PRESENTATION OF RECORDS TO AS'HABUL SHIMAAL' people
All those people whose scales will be light with good deeds will be going to receive their book of deeds in their left hands after questioning as mentioned above. These are the people who will find their souls in perdition for that they wrongfully treated the signs of Allah(i.e. go against the verses of Allah's book) and forget the meeting with Allah and never return to Him and also include those who does good deeds but not to get the good pleasure of Allah but to be praised by others. Also include all those rich people who had big authorities but they forget the meeting with Allah and transgress the limits imposed by Allah.
That person on the day of judgment will say: "Woe to me, would that I had not been given my Book of Deeds , nor known what my account was! Would that my death had ended all! My wealth had availed me nothing, and my authority has gone away from me." (Q7:9; 69:19; Bukhari 8.543)(also refer to Q18:49)
Then Allah says, "Seize him and put a chain around his neck, then cast him in the blazing fire, then fasten him with a chain seventy cubits long. For he did not believe in Allah, the Most High, nor did he care to feed the poor. Today he neither has a true friend here, nor any food except the pus from the washing of wounds, which none but the wrongdoers eat."(69:30-37)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE STORY OF ARAF PEOPLE
It seems these people are the believers whose weight of good deeds is equal to weight of evil deeds (Allah knows better). When the judgment will be finished and the people of paradise and hell were already entered into their abode but these people will be still standing at a height called "Araf" (or a barrier between hell & paradise) or perhaps they would stuck at as-sirat bridge. They will neither fall into hell and nor will be able to cross the as-sirat bridge and therefore they may be stuck there and will not able to enter into paradise.(Allah knows better)
But they will be watching hell and paradise and they will be hoping for paradise. And they will be speaking to the people of paradise and as well as to the people of hellfire.
When their eyes shall turn towards the inmates of the hellfire they will say: "Our Rabb! Do not cast us among these wrongdoers."
And when they will recognize the known and famous personalities among the inmates of Hellfire and then they will address to them saying: "Have you found out that neither your riches nor your arrogant pride have availed you?( (also refer to Q 7:46-48)
It seems they will later enter into paradise with the help of intercession as it can be interpreted from the Muslim Hadith 83. Bukhari 4.556(Allah knows better)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE JUDGMENT OF "AS'HABUL YAMEEN"?--- AN-NAJWA AND BOOK
An-Najwa (secret talk between Allah and His believing worshipper)
Allah may forgive the sins (the sins which are made by violating the rights of creator in terms of worshipping and obedience to His instructions) on the Day of Judgment for all those Muslims who always remember God and does repent and regret. And then his book of deeds will be given to him in his right hand.
But it seems Allah will not forgive the sins made due to Huququl ibaa'd (rights of other mankind) and that person will be punished at sirat and @ retaliation center (Allah knows better)
Narrated Safwan bin Muhriz, While Ibn Umar was performing the Tawaf (around the Ka'ba), a man came up to him and said, "O Abu 'Abdur-Rahman!" or said, "O Ibn Umar! Did you hear anything from the Prophet about An-Najwa?" Ibn 'Umar said, "I heard the Prophet saying, 'The Believer will be brought near his Lord.' " (Hisham, a sub-narrator said, reporting the Prophet's words), "The believer will come near (his Lord) till his Lord covers him with His screen and makes him confess his sins. (Allah will ask him), 'Do you know (that you did) such-and-such sin?' He will say twice, 'Yes, I do.' Then Allah will say, 'I concealed it in the world and I forgive it for you today.' Then the record of his good deeds will be folded up. As for the others, or the disbelievers, it will be announced publicly before the witnesses: 'These are ones who lied against their Lord.' " (Bukhari 3.621)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE PRESENTATION OF RECORDS to successful believers
The successful believer is one who will receive his book of deeds in his right hand and he will read it with pleasure and he will not be wronged in the least, and he will return to his people rejoicing and he will say "Here it is, read my Book of deeds"( 69: 19-21, 17:71-72; 84:7-9; Bukhari 1.103). Furthermore, he will say, "I knew that I would certainly face my reckoning." The indication of successful believers who are going to receive their book of deeds in their right hands will have quick and easy reckoning as mentioned above his sins will be forgiven.
As mentioned above Allah forgives the sins of a true believer which is between him and God and therefore he will go to his friends, relatives and others and ask them to read about his certificate (i.e. book of deeds). But he will receive punishment for the sins done against the mankind *(i.e. Huququl ibaad) according to his evil deeds at as-sirat and at Retaliation Bridge where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world.
--------------------------------------------------------------
· THE SITUATION OF Muqar'rabeen (AWLIA, shuhada, Anbia )----WITHOUT ANY ACCOUNT!
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab, reported the Prophet (peace be upon him) as saying: There are people from the servants of Allah who are neither prophets nor martyrs; the prophets and martyrs will envy them on the Day of Resurrection for their rank from Allah, the Most High. They (the people) asked: Tell us, Apostle of Allah, who are they? He replied: They are people who love one another for the spirit of Allah (i.e. the Qur'an), without having any mutual kinship and giving property to one. I swear by Allah, their faces will glow and they will be (sitting) in (pulpits of) light. They will have no fear (on the Day) when the people will have fear, and they will not grieve when the people will grieve. He then recited the following Qur'anic verse: "Behold! Verily for the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve."( abu-dawood 1563)
Seventy thousand people without any reckoning
Narrated Ibn Abbas, Allah's Apostle said, "Seventy thousand people of my followers will enter Paradise without accounts, and they are those who do not practice Ar-Ruqya and do not see an evil omen in things, and put their trust in their Lord."(Bukhari 8.479)
Furthermore, they are ones who stand first in doing good deeds.(Bukhari 7.606)
The first group of the top most believers
The first group to achieve it would comprise seventy thousand men of umma of prophet Muhammad(pbuh) , they would have the brightness of the full moon on their faces, and they would not be called to account. Then the faces of the people immediately following them will be like the brightest stars in Heaven. This is how (the groups would follow one after another. (Refer to Muslim 83 for full hadith)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dress --------Who will be the first to be dressed?
The first man who will be dressed on the Day of Resurrection, will be Abraham. (Refer to Bukhari 6.264)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE FINAL GROUPS after judgment PREPARED FOR HELL AND PARADISE:
1 FOR HELL AND 2 FOR PARADISE --------through bridgeas-sirat
Assembled in groups just before entering into Hell/paradise: The entire mankind will be divided or segregated into three groups after the judgment for final reward or punishment: The forefront group & the right side group for paradise and the left side group for hell, waiting for entering the final abode through as-sirat!. And they shall be arranged in classifications according to their merits(Quran 27:83).
The top most group the front group also called as "aqrabeen" (i.e. awwaleen & sabiqoon) consisting of anbia, siddiqeen shuhada and awlia exempted from reckoning will be forefront and foremost nearest to Allah, riding with food and dressed. And the second group "as'habul yameen" consisting of the rest of all the believers, walking and running. All disbelievers, evil persons and those who go astray will be assembled in the third group, also called as left side group and they will be dragged on their faces towards Hell.
In addition to these three groups it seems there will be a separate group for the people of Araf(Allah knows better). (Refer to Tirmidhi 1460, Narrated AbuDharr)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final ride! The "As-Sirat" Bridge
This is a slippery bridge across the hell fire and in between Hell & paradise and it seems at the end of it there will be a retaliation station just before entering into paradise for the justice of Huququl ibaa'd (Allah knows better). This is only the path that leads both to Hell and paradise. It is a slippery bridge on which there are clamps and Hooks like thorny seed that is wide at one side and narrow at the other and has thorns with bent ends but nobody except Allah knows their greatness in size and these will entangle the people according to their deeds!
The entire mankind has to pass over it. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his followers will be the first ones to go across it. The speed of people over this path will be according to their gravity of deeds. The more you have good deeds the more your speed will be.
The people will continue to pass until their deeds are failing in strength, until a man would come who would find it hard to go along (that path) except by crawling. And on the sides of the path hooks would be suspended ready to catch anyone whom these are required to catch.
It seems mankind will continue passing the bridge and will be slipped up to their final locations as per their deeds. As Allah will requite each soul according to its deeds.(Q14:51)
Hell has seven gates and paradise has eight gates. For example an evil person from hell named "Havia" will be dragged on their faces up to the gate of Havia and then he will be slipped into in. Likewise people of hutama, Jaheem etc will be dragged up to their destiny and then slipped therein. And thus all the people of hell will be slipped just before the respective gates until all assembled there and then they will be casted into hell group by group together.
Some of the believers will cross the bridge as quickly as the wink of an eye, some others as quick as lightning, a strong wind, fast horses or she-camels, the next like one riding on his pack-saddle, the next like a man's running, the next like his walking.
So some will be safe without any harm; some will be safe after receiving some scratches, and some will fall down into Hell (Fire) and stay in Hell forever and others will receive punishment (torn into small pieces and stay in hell temporarily) and will get out of Hell through intercession. (Tirmidhi 1475; Q 19:69-72; Bukhari 2.342; 9.532, muslim 85)
When the people of hell reach/fell down there at the gates of Hell, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say: "Did there not come to you Rasools from among yourselves, who recited to you the revelations of your Rabb and forewarned you about the meeting of this Day?" "Yes," they will answer. But at that time the sentence of punishment would have been already announced against the unbelievers."
And it is similar for people of paradise. It seems the farthest gate of paradise which is nearest to Allah is firdous. Paradise has eight gates; people will cross and slipped upto their respective gates. The straight path of "bridge sirat", which can be called as "siratal mustaqeem" leads to firdous, it seems in every prayer we are supplicating for firdous as we are used to recite surah al fatiha.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
· THE RETALIATION STATION AT BRIDGE
As per Bukhari 3.620, Narrated Abu Said Al Khudri, Allah's Apostle said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
QUESTIONS OF GATE KEEPERS TO PEOPLE OF HELL
After the Judgement, the Unbelievers will be driven to hell in groups. When they reach there, its gates will be opened and its keepers will say: "Did there not come to you Rasools from among yourselves, who recited to you the revelations of your Rabb and forewarned you about the meeting of this Day?" "Yes," they will answer. But at that time the sentence of punishment would have been already announced against the unbelievers.
Then they shall be driven to the fire of hell with violence, and it will be said to them: "This is the fire which you denied. Is this a magic, or do you not see?"
Every time a group is plunged therein, its guards will ask: "Did not a Warner come to you?" -- They will answer: "Yes indeed, a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, Allah has revealed nothing - you are merely in gross error."(refer to Q 52: 13-15 Q39: 69-71, 71 Q67:8)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
· STAGE OF INTERCESSION
After the final ride and when the people of hell and people of paradise entered into their final abode then the stage of intercession would come both for the people of Araf (standing at location other than Hell and paradise, may be stuck at as-sirat) and for some people who get afflicted temporarily in the hellfire (to whom Quran did not imprisoned him (such as Q74:48, 16:29 & 20:74) and also see Bukhari 4.307;
And they who are permitted to intercede would intercede for some people (Allah will identify them) excluding those people as mentioned in Q74:48 until he who has declared: "There is no god but Allah" and has in his heart virtue of the weight of a barley grain would come out of the Fire. They would be then brought into the courtyard of Paradise. The inhabitants of Paradise would begin to sprinkle water over them until they sprout like the sprouting of a plant in flood water, and their burns would disappear. They would ask their Lord until they are granted (the bounties) of the world and with them ten more besides.(refer to muslim 83; 78; 357; Bukhari 9.532C;
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) will be the first to intercede
As per Quran 47:19; and 9:103; Allah already instructed Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to ask forgiveness for the fault of Muslim men & women who believe. And also note that Allah already forgave all the past & future sins of him and therefore he will be the first to intercede for his umma. Prophet prayers are a source of security for believers (Q9:103)
After Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) then all other prophets and then Angels and then the believers will intercede, and in last of all the Almighty Allah will say, 'Now remains My Intercession.(refer to Sahih al bukhari 9.532B)
To Allah belongs exclusively the right to grant Intercession(also 39: 44; 2:255, 74:41-49; 21:26) and therefore Allah will permit intercession to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and identify for some Muslims, who associated nothing with Allah and who said sincerely from the bottom of his heart "None has the right to be worshipped but Allah." And "Whoever after listening to the Adhan says, 'Allahumma Rabba hadhihi-d-da' watit-tammati was-salatil qa'imati, ati Muhammadan al-wasilata wal-fadilata, wab' athhu maqaman mahmudan-il-ladhi wa' adtahu. (Bukhari 1.98, 1.588, Tirmidhi 5600)
Angles will intercede for believers --------Intercession of Muslims who are praying & having marks on their foreheads
Refer to Quran 53: 26; 21:26) in this regard. When Allah intends mercy on whomever He likes amongst the people of Hell, He will order the angels to take out of Hell those who worshipped none but Him alone. The angels will take them out by recognizing them from the traces of prostrations, for Allah has forbidden the (Hell) fire to eat away those traces. (Tirmidhi 1475; Q 19:69-72; Bukhari 2.342; 1.628; 9.532, muslim 85;
Regarding those who are praying for them, Allah's Apostle said, "The angels keep on asking for Allah's blessing and forgiveness for anyone of you as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and does not do Hadath (passes wind). The angels say, 'O Allah! Forgive him and be Merciful to him.' Each one of you is in the prayer as long as he is waiting for the prayer and nothing but the prayer detains him from going to his family."(Bukhari 1.628)
Believers will intercede for his Muslim brother -------who used to pray with him, fast with him and do good deeds with him
In every prayer in tashahud-------believers used to pray "was-salamu alina". Besides during prayer we used to ask forgiveness for us. "We hear and we obey. Grant us Your forgiveness, O Rabb; to You we shall all return."(Q2:285)
So, when Muslims see themselves safe (i.e. when they entered into paradise) , They will say, 'O Allah! (Save) our brothers (for they) used to pray with us, fast with us and also do good deeds with us.'
As mentioned above Allah will forbid the Fire to burn the faces of those sinners because actually Allah has forbidden the fire to eat away the traces of prostrations on foreheads and therefore they will recognize by their faces.
Allah will permit to take out all those Muslim worshippers whose hearts had faith equal to the weight of one (gold) Dinar and then he will allow for Muslims worshippers having faith equal to the weight of one half Dinar and in the last He will allow for those muslims having faith equal to faith equal to the weight of an atom or a smallest ant, the least faith.)(For full Hadith refer to al bukhari 9.532B by abu said ai Khudri)
The point to be noted here is that believers will intercede for those Muslims who used to pray with them and fast with them and doing good deeds with them and having least faith, Because Allah has forbidden the fire of hell to eat the traces of prostrations on foreheads. And therefore they will be recognized by their faces.
Also note that when someone don't have enough strength to stop an evil thing neither from his hands and nor from his tongue then he should dislike it from his heart and that is called the least faith.
So the million question is when someone is involved in evil things and don't dislike it from his heart but keep on continuing it then what about his faith? It means he does not have the least faith unless and until he repents and returns and amend his characters. (Refer to Muslim Hadith 79 for the definition of least faith) (also refer to Bukhari 8.800B, 8.763)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOME SCENES OF DAY OF JUDGMENT!
The story of people of Bida!
Narrated Sahl bin Sad, I heard the Prophet saying, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar), and whoever will come to it, will drink from it, and whoever will drink from it, will never become thirsty after that. There will come to me some people whom I know and they know me, and then a barrier will be set up between me and them." Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri added that the Prophet further said: "I will say those people are from me. It will be said, 'You do not know what changes and new things they did after you.' Then I will say, 'Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the religion) after me!"(Bukhari 9.174)
As per Quran 6: 159, "Surely those who divide the religion into sects and identify themselves as a sect, (O Muhammad), you have nothing to do with them. Their case will be called to account by Allah Himself, He will inform them as to what they did."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Disbelieves wish ?
Q6:27, If you could witness the scene, when they will be made to stand before the hellfire! They will say: "We wish we could return to earthly life again; then we would not deny the revelations of our Rabb, and we would join the believers!"
Q14:44, "O Muhammad forewarn mankind of the Day when Our punishment will overtake them; when the wrongdoers will say: "Our Rabb! Give us a little more respite: we will answer Your call and follow the Rasools!" But it will be said to them, "Are you not the same people who once swore that you would never suffer a decline?"
---------------------------------------------------------
The story of men who commit ghulul
As per Bukhari 4.307, Narrated Abu Huraira, The Prophet got up amongst us and mentioned Al Ghulul, emphasized its magnitude and declared that it was a great sin saying, "Don't commit Ghulul for I should not like to see anyone amongst you on the Day of Ressurection, carrying over his neck a sheep that will be bleating, or carrying over his neck a horse that will be neighing. Such a man will be saying: 'O Allah's Apostle! Intercede with Allah for me,' and I will reply, 'I can't help you, for I have conveyed
Allah's Message to you.' Nor should I like to see a man carrying over his neck, a camel that will be grunting. Such a man will say, 'O Allah's Apostle! Intercede with Allah for me,' and I will say, 'I can't help you for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you,' or one carrying over his neck gold and silver and saying, 'O Allah's Apostle! Intercede with Allah for me,' and I will say, 'I can't help you for I have conveyed Allah's Message to you,' or one carrying clothes that will be fluttering, and the man will say, 'O Allah's Apostle! Intercede with Allah for me.' And I will say, 'I can't help you, for I have conveyed Allah's
Message to you.' "
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of a rich and the very poor person----the lesson of "thanks"
Muslim 1304, Narrated Anas ibn Malik, Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: One amongst the denizens of Hell who had led a life of ease and plenty amongst the people of the world would be made to dip in fire only once on the Day of Resurrection and then it would be said to him: O, son of Adam, did you find any comfort, did you happen to get any material blessing? He would say: By Allah, no, my Lord. And then that person from amongst the persons of the world be brought who had led the most miserable life (in the world) from amongst the inmates of Paradise and he would be made to dip once in Paradise and it would be said to him: O, son of Adam, did you face any hardship? Or had any distress fallen to your lot? And he would say: By Allah, no, O my Lord, never did I face any hardship or experience any distress.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of a bad Muslim misguided by an evil friend!
On that Day the wrongdoer will bite his hands saying: "Oh! Would that I had only taken the pathway alongside the Rasool!". He will regret on that day and came to know that the only path that leads to success is the path of Prophet and all those ways that do not comply with that of the prophet will lead to astray. Therefore he feels sorry for not following the path of the prophet.
Besides, he will blame his friend and regret his friendship saying: "Oh! Would that I had never chosen so-and-so for my companion. He was the one who led me astray from the admonition even after it had reached me." (i.e. the Quran is already in his home)
Since he was a Muslim and he was already holding the copy of Allah's book and he knows the path of the prophet but because of an evil friend who misguided him and he took him away from the path of the prophet.( Quran 25: 27-30)
Prophet's statement on the Day of Judgment!
On the Day of Judgment when prophet will see the consequence of the bad Muslims, he will regret and say: "O my Rabb! Surely my people took this Qur'an for foolish nonsense."(Q 25: 30)
-------------------------------------------------------------
The story of a person who will not get shafa'at
it seems when believers enter into paradise they will ask question to the people of hell in surprise probably for those Muslim who will be in hell forever and there will be no intercession for them. As those people do not offer salah and did not feed the poor but they had wasted their time in vain talk, and as such they will be denying the Day of Judgment. And note these bad habits are not lasted just few days but it continues until death overtakes him for that person it seems there will be no intercession. (Refer to Q74:38-48). It seems they neither made any tauba & nor returned to Allah with devotion & taubatan nasuha!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of a person who argue in the world
As per Quran 7:48-49, The people of the A'raf (heights) will call to certain men (famous personalities from among the inmates of Hell) whom they will recognize by their features and say: "Have you found out that neither your riches nor your arrogant pride have availed you? Are the residents of paradise not the same people about whom you swore that Allah will never bestow His mercy on them?" Today the same people are being welcomed with the words, "Enter paradise, you have nothing to fear or to regret." Then the inmates of the fire will cry out to the residents of paradise: "Give us some water or some of the food which Allah has provided you." They will reply: "Allah has prohibited both of these things to the unbelievers,
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of the last person who enter into paradise----the intercession of Allah
The following story seems to be belonging to a Muslim who prays because Allah has forbidden the hell fire to burn the faces of worshippers.
As per Bukhari: "Then Allah will finish the judgments among the people, and there will remain one man facing the (Hell) Fire and he will be the last person among the people of Hell to enter Paradise. He will say, 'O my Lord! Please turn my face away from the fire because its air has hurt me and its severe heat has burnt me.' So he will invoke Allah in the way Allah will wish him to invoke, and then Allah will say to him, 'If I grant you that, will you then ask for anything else?' He will reply, 'No, by Your Power, (Honor) I will not ask You for anything else.' He will give his Lord whatever promises and covenants Allah will demand.
So Allah will turn his face away from Hell (Fire). When he will face Paradise and will see it, he will remain quiet for as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet, then he will say, 'O my Lord! Bring me near to the gate of Paradise.' Allah will say to him, 'Didn't you give your promises and covenants that you would never ask for anything more than what you had been given? Woe on you, O Adam's son! How treacherous you are!' He will say, 'O my lord,' and will keep on invoking Allah till He says to him, 'If I give what you are asking, will you then ask for anything else?' He will reply, 'No, by Your (Honor) Power, I will not ask for anything else.' Then he will give covenants and promises to Allah and then Allah will bring him near to the gate of Paradise. When he stands at the gate of Paradise,
Paradise will be opened and spread before him, and he will see its splendor and pleasures whereupon he will remain quiet as long as Allah will wish him to remain quiet, and then he will say, 'O my Lord! Admit me into Paradise.' Allah will say, 'Didn't you give your covenants and promises that you would not ask for anything more than what you had been given?' Allah will say, 'Woe on you, O Adam's son! How treacherous you are!'
The man will say, 'O my Lord! Do not make me the most miserable of Your creation,' and he will keep on invoking Allah till Allah will laugh because of his sayings, and when Allah will laugh because of him, He will say to him, 'Enter Paradise,' and when he will enter it, Allah will say to him, 'Wish for anything.' So he will ask his Lord, and he will wish for a great number of things, for Allah Himself will remind him to wish for certain things by saying, '(Wish for) so-and-so.' When there is nothing more to wish for, Allah will say, 'This is for you, and its equal (is for you) as well."( it is a long Hadith, for full refer to 9.532A)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of two men in the hellfire but later will enter into paradise
Narrated AbuHurayrah, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "Two men of those who enter Hell will shout loudly, and the Lord Most High will say, 'Bring them out.' He will
ask them why they shouted so loudly and they will reply, 'We did that in order that Thou mightest have mercy on us.' He will say, 'My mercy to you is that you should go and throw yourselves where you were in Hell.' One of them will do so and Allah will make it coolness and peace for him, but the other will stand and not do so. The Lord Most High will ask him, 'What has prevented you from throwing yourself in as your companion did?" and he will reply, 'My Lord, I hope that Thou wilt not send me back into it after taking me out of it.' The Lord most high will then say to him, 'You will have your hope realised,' and they will both be brought into Paradise by Allah's mercy." (Tirmdihi 1474)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The story of men who helped the people of paradise
As per Tirmidhi 1473, Narrated Anas ibn Malik, Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said, "The inhabitants of Hell will be drawn up in line, and when one of the inhabitants of Paradise passes them one of them will say, 'So and so, do you not recognise me? I am the one who gave you a drink.' And one of them will say, 'I am the one who gave you water for ablution.' He will then intercede for him and bring him into Paradise." ---Ibn Majah transmitted it.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The least punished person of the Hell Fire
There will be some to whose ankles the fire will reach, some to whose knees, some to whose waist the fire will reach, and some to whose collar-bone the fire will reach. (Muslim 1324)
The least punished person of the (Hell) Fire people on the Day of Resurrection will be a man under whose arch of the feet two smoldering embers will be placed, because of which his brain will boil just like Al-Mirjal (copper vessel) or a Qum-qum (narrow-necked vessel) is boiling with water."(Bukhari 8.567). (Also refer to Q29:45)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
· DISPUTES IN THE HELL
Quran 40: 47: "Behold they will dispute with each other in the Fire! The weak ones (who followed) will say to those who had been arrogant "We but followed you: can ye then take (on yourselves) from us some share of the Fire?"
Demand for double punishment for forefathers
Speaking while entering, 7:38; "Allah will say: "Enter the fire and join the nations of Jinns and men who have gone before you." As each nation will enter hell, it will curse its preceding sister till all are gathered there, the last of them will say about the first one: "Our Rabb! These have led us astray; therefore, give them double punishment of the fire." He will answer: "There will be double for all, although you may not know because of being predecessor or successor in sin and aggression."
Q38: 60-63, "The followers shall say to their miss guided leaders: "But you! There is no welcome for you either! It was you who have brought us to this end. Such an evil abode." 61 Then they will pray: "Our Rabb, inflict on those who brought this fate upon us double punishment in the fire." 62 Then they will say to one another: "But why do we not see those whom we deemed wicked----------and whom we use to ridicule? Or have our eyesight failed to notice them?"
DEMAND FOR END OF LIFE!
As per Q43:74, But the criminals will abide in the punishment of hell. Their punishment will never be lightened, and they shall remain despair therein. We did not wrong them, but it is they who wronged themselves. They will cry: "O Malik (the keeper of hell)! Let your Rabb put and end to us." But he will answer: "Nay! You are going to live forever."
Send back we shall do good deeds!
As per Quran 35:37, "Therein they shall cry for help: "Our Rabb! Get us out, from now on we shall do good deeds and shall not repeat the ones we used to do". The response will be: "Did we not give you lives long enough so that he who would, could take a warning? Besides, someone did come to warn you. Now taste the fruit of your deeds, here there is no helper for the wrongdoers."
Q23:106-107, "They will say: "O our Rabb! Our misfortune overwhelmed us and we became erring folk. Our Rabb! Get us out of here; if we ever return to sin, then we shall indeed be wrongdoers."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
· Welcome for people of paradise---with families
Q39: 73: "And those who feared their Lord will be led to the Garden in crowds: until behold they arrive there; its gates will be opened: and its Keepers will say: "Peace be upon you! Well have ye done! Enter ye here to dwell therein.". They will say: "Praise be to Allah Who has truly fulfilled His promise to us and has given us (this) land in heritage: we can dwell in the Garden as we will: how excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!"
Q13:23-24, "- the Paradise of perpetual bliss: they will enter into it along with their righteous forefathers, their spouses and their descendants. The angels will come to welcome them from every side, saying: "Peace be upon you for all that you steadfastly endured in the world. Now! How excellent will be the home of the hereafter!"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The final scene of day of judgment
As per Quran 39:75, "You will see the angels surrounding the Divine Throne, glorifying their Rabb with His praises. The judgement between the people will be made with perfect justice, and it will be proclaimed: "Praise be to Allah the Rabb of the worlds!"
------------------------------------------------------------
DETAILS REGARDING HELL
Hell apparently is a seven story building which has levels/gates one above other. Each level/gate will be assigned to a separate group from among the people of hell whereas paradise is wide open. As Allah will requite each soul according to its deeds.(Q14:51)
These levels/gates or seven degrees of hell. JAHANNAM (Hell), is the general term describing Hell.( 15:44; 17:63; 11:119), are follows:
NAR: fire ; JAHIM: blazingfire; SA'IR: blazing flame and HUTAMAH: crushing torment, that which smashes or breaks to pieces , LAZA: raging flame, which pluck out skull(i.e. tearing away skins) SAQAR: hell-fire and HAVIAH(abyss)
ANGLES OF HELL: As per the interpretation of Quran.(74:30-31) there are nineteen angels who are guarding the Hell. If we consider this as a total number of angels then at each gate there will be at least one guardian at gate and two internally or three altogether for each level except the top most of hell (i.e. 3 each for six levels=18).
The top most part of hell may have only one guardian, the gate keeper of hell whose name may be Malik, who kindles the fire , also in charge of hell, (Bukhari 4.459) . The top most hell will have the least punishment (Allah knows better) (43:77)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REGARDING HAVIA
The lowest part of hell (the very deep hell) may be "Havia" designed for so-called Muslims (i.e. munafiqeen). Havia literally means bottomless pit, very deep hell, too deep to be measured, endless.
Havia is a fire hotly burning (Q101: 11), designed for people who has maximum weight of evil deeds, will be given to drink from a boiling fountain. They shall have no food except bitter thorny fruit, which will neither provide nourishment nor satisfy hunger.(88:5)
Pl. note weighing of good deeds is exclusively for true believers only because Allah will not weigh good deeds of hypocrites, disbelievers , idolaters and mushrikeen. Therefore they will have only weight of evil deeds and do not contain any good deeds. It means they will have zero good deeds and different weights of evil deeds.
Please note hypocrites will have maximum weight of evil deeds and therefore this hell is exclusively for hypocrites. (Q 4:145) . The identification of hypocrites is who stands up for Salah reluctantly, merely to be seen by people and do not remember Allah but a little (Q4:142 and 4:145) and you can't trust him. He is dishonest, a liar and a promise breaker.
Allah will ask the hypocrite on the Day of Judgment: "O so and so, did I not honour you, make you the chief, provide you spouse and tame horses and camels for you and give you an opportunity to rule over your subjects? Then the hypocrite will say: O my Lord, I affirmed my faith in Thee, in Thy Book and in Thy Messenger; I observed prayer and fasts and gave charity he will speak in good terms like this as he is able to do.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REGARDING NAR
The level "Nar: may be for unbelievers, mushrikeen and for those who are misleading others and for those who don't believe in god? (Q111:3): (As-ha'bun nar) ,
It seems this level may be above "Havia" level of hypocrites.(Allah knows better)
The hell "Nar" will roast the skins and then Allah will change them for fresh skins that they may taste the penalty: and this process will continue in this Hell.( refer to Q4:56)
Their dress will be garments of Fire will be cut out for them, boiling water will be poured over their heads, it will melt their skins as well as their inner parts of their bellies, and there will be maces of iron to lash them. Whenever, in their anguish, they try to escape there from, they will be forced back therein.
It is designed for disbelievers who will have certain gravity of evil deeds and also include those who accepts some revelations and rejected the rest (i.e. the misguided ones such as Jews and Christians and etc.) and it include also those who rejected Islam completely and as such they are misleading people & their followers (Q2:24; 22:72; 4:56)
And also include the people of Book who rejected Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) (Q11:17; Muslim 64). And those who used to say when they will become dust, could they then be raised to a new life again?" They are the people who have denied their Rabb, they are the ones who will have yokes around their necks and they are the ones who will be the inmates of hellfire to live therein forever.((Q10:7-8; 5:72; 13:5; 40:6; 13:5; 3:151; 40:4; 3:183; 2:81; 2:126, 39:8; 10:27)
Besides, those desire the life of this world and its splendors, and they will have nothing in the hereafter except Hellfire. There they shall come to know that their deeds were fruitless and their actions were worthless.
For all those who are involved in usury and they are usury eater (Q2:275) and they used to argue "Trading is no different than usury" and Those who are inclined to those who are unjust.(Q11: 106))
Furthermore, they are the people who are driving other people to hellfire and they set up equals with Allah only to mislead them (Quran 14:30)
Besides, who deny the revelations of God and treat them with arrogance(7: 36)
Also for those who disputes the revelations of Allah and none will dispute but those who disbelieve(40:4)
But the ones who disobey Allah and His Rasool and transgress His limits will be cast to Hellfire to live therein forever, and they shall have a humiliating punishment. (Q4:14)

REGARDING SAQAR
The other level or grade of hell is "saqar" designed apparently for evil Muslims, who deny the Day of Judgment by practice.(Allah knows better). It seems this is the top most part of hell. And from among this hell some people will be taken out through intercession and the rest remain there forever!
In this hell the depth of fire may be according to the gravity of evil deeds. Some of them the Fire will be up to their feet, and some up to the middle of their legs. Furthermore, It's vapor will poison & smoke and its flame will burn (Bukhari 8.577)
People will be recognized by their faces. As Allah has forbidden the fire to eat the traces of prostration. Therefore fire will eat away the whole of the human body except the marks of the prostrations. Or the fire is not up to their faces therefore they will recognize by their faces.
The Hell "Saqar" will be Darkening and changing the color of man! (i.e. change the appearance of men or scorching the skin of men) (Q74:29). It is designed for evil Muslims who reject the Day of Judgment by practice. they neither pray nor they used to feed the poor but they merely engaged in vain talk and used to deny the Day of Judgment until death overcomes as stated in (Q74:42-47) and as identified the characters of a person who actually denies the day of religion by practice (Q107:1-3). As we understand from the later verse there will be no shafat(intercession) for such people.(Q74:48).
A scene of judgment!
As per Muslim: "A person will be brought for judgment. Then He (Allah) will say: Well, I forget you today as you forgot us"(.for details refer to Muslim 1386)
They are the people who are deniers of day of religion and don't believe in the day of resurrection and are people who are going off track (i.e. going astray) by practice.
Pl. note the anyone who is crossing the limits as prescribed by Allah are actually denying the day of recompense as described in Quran Q83:12 ,56:92 and 69: 33-34, but if he repents and returns faith will return to him.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
REGARDING HUTAMA
The other level or grade of hell named is Hutama.(Q104: 5)
Hutama is a crushing torment, that which smashes or breaks to pieces. It is the fire kindled to a blaze, it will reach to the hearts, and closing in upon them from every side in stretched columns.
It is designed for all those who are slanders and defamer, and collectors of wealth illegally and keeps on counting it . And the one who thinks that his wealth will insure his status forever! (Q104: 1 - 4)
It is for all those who reject signs and therefore they are the companions of the left hands (Q90:20)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
REGARDING JAHEEM
The other level or grade of hell named "Jaheem", containing heavy fetters and a blazing fire, choking food and a painful punishment.(73:12; 69:33). They will be fasten with a chain seventy cubits long. These people are called the "ashabul jaheem"
It seems it is designed for all those who disbelieve wholly or partly and those who deny revelations partly or all from among muslims or from ahle-kitab, (refer to 69:33; 5:10, 5:86; 57:19; 56:92-94) those who are not afraid of hell, it means they deny Hell or don't believe in Hell (Q102:5). These people will receive their book of deeds in their left hands (84: 10-12).
As such they do not believe in Allah by practice (i.e. he does not fear Allah) and nor he care to feed the poor(69:33-34) but all the time he had busy in doubling his wealth as mentioned in Q102:1-8. They are also involved in restless efforts in getting power, obsessed by greed for more and more in worldly comfort things. (Q2:119) and who are in the mutual rivalry for piling up the things as a result they have been diverted from true God' Allah. These are the people on the day of judgment Allah will ask about all His given favors, blessings ,faculties and resources that were given in the worldly life. Our beloved prophet (pbuh) said: "'Anybody whose account (record) is questioned will surely be punished."( Bukhari 8.543; Muslim 1386)
The another major identification of these people may be is that they practice which were not commanded to do by our Prophet (pbuh) but blindly follow their scholars and Imams and create different sects & factions and new rituals as such they create bidaat in religion (Muslim 17)( (Also refer to 14:36 in this regard,). for those people Allah will ask about the blessings of wisdom, hearing and knowledge as mentioned in Q102:8 that why they had not used them(Q6:159). Besides, our beloved prophet said, "he, who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers)."(Bukhari 7.1)(Q6: 159, 2:119; Bukhari 9.384).
Since they don't fear Allah therefore they are crossing the limits assigned by Allah and disobey Allah's instructions and disobey prophet. And therefore they deny Allah's instructions by practice. (5:86). Please note our prophet said, "Whoever obeys him will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys him is the one who refuses to enter it."( Bukhari 9.384))"
Allah will ask such people, "Were My revelations not recited to you, and did you not deny them?"(23:110)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE LEVEL LAZAA and THE LEVEL SAIR:
For the evil persons who denied truth (i.e. Islam) and gives no importance to it (Q92:14-16). It means this is for atheists and others like this faith (Allah knows better)
The hell "laza" will eager to pluck out the skull of people.(70:16). It will remove the exteriors of the person (i.e. skin and flush) remaining only skeleton. It will be calling all those who try to escape and turn their back from truth and who collected wealth and withheld it.
For those people who denies the hour (i.e. the last day) and deniers of day of resurrection (Q17:98); 25:11); 31:21; 33:64; 35:6) and for those who take the property of orphans (4:10; 42:7; 48:13; (Allah knows better).
These people will receive his book of deeds from behind his back (84: 10-12).

· DETAILS REGARDING PARADISE:
Not one but many paradises:
Two things "true belief" and "fear of Allah" will lead to paradise (Q41: 18)
There are not only one but there are many paradises (Bukhari 5.318 and Quran 55:46). From hadithh we know Jannatual firdous but may be other names such as Jannaut aden(gardens of eden) and Jannat wa ayun etc.
Ultimate peace: The specialty of paradise is that it provides the everlasting satisfaction and no fear & no grief and no fatigue but ultimate peace (refer to Q19: 60-63; 36: 58).
The ultimate satisfaction of heart: Allah will remove all hatred & any lurking sense of injury whatever we will have in our hearts against each other from our hearts and we will become like brothers and sit on couches face to face (Q15:47) there will be no competition and no jealousy.
No wish for change: And we will neither lose interest and nor we like to leave it (Q18: 108). Every single moment we feel it interesting and enjoyable. It is actually a gift from the Lord which will remain with us forever and we will be the real heir of paradise (Q41:32; 23:11) and we will never sick and there will be no more death (44:56)
A real entertainment in Jannatul firdous: people of paradise will be entertained with the Gardens of Paradise (jannatul firdous) Q18:107. Besides refer to Q36:55: "Surely, on that Day, the residents of paradise will be busy with their joy; they and their spouses will be in shady groves reclining on soft couches. They will have all kinds of fruit and they will get whatever they call for;"
Gates of paradise-----------EIGHT GATES
The paradise has eight gates(Bukhari 4.479) which are: gates of prayers, gates of charity(gate of sadaqa), gates of fasting(i.e. the bab ar-Rayyan), the gate of Jihad, etc.( Bukhari 3.121 and 5.18)
The gates of paradise are opened every year during the month of ramadhan(Bukhari 3.122).
The distance between every two gate-posts of Paradise is like the distance between Mecca and Busra (in Sham)." (Bukhari 6.236)( also refer to Q38:50)
Everything available: Whatever we ask it will be provided. Whatever we like it we will find all that our souls desire and all that we can ask for in the paradise, and we will get it and without any measure(Q41: 31; 40:40).
Fountains & springs: Jannat wa ayuon: 15:45-47, "The righteous will be in the midst of the gardens and fountains of paradise
Rivers beneath it: The rivers flow beneath the paradise; eternal are its fruits, and eternal are its Shades (Q13: 35).
Rivers of Milk and wine
Q47:15, "Here is the parable of the paradise which the righteous have been promised: it has rivers the water of which will never be stagnant, rivers of milk whose taste never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey pure and clear. In it they will have all kinds of fruits, as well as forgiveness from their Rabb.----"
Greetings: They will be greeted with the word "Salaam (Peace)" from the Lord of Mercy"
Light: The people of paradise will have their light which shines before them and on their right hands (Q57:12)
Size of paradise: it is Vast as the heaven and earth (Q57: 21),
Dress & jewelry: They will be given armlets of gold & pearls and will wear green robes of finest silk and gold embroidery" (Q18:31; 35.33)
Food: daily twice: There they will hear no nonsense, but only the words of peace; and they will be provided their sustenance day and night."(Q19:62)
Mansions in paradise of Eden:, Allah will lodge the people of paradise in beautiful mansions in the gardens of Eden. (Q61:12)
As per Bukhari, The people of Paradise will look at the dwellers of the lofty mansions (i.e. a superior place in Paradise) in the same way as one looks at a brilliant star far away in the East or in the West on the horizon; all that is because of their superiority over one another (in rewards)." On that the people said, "O Allah's Apostle! Are these lofty mansions for the prophets which nobody else can reach? The Prophet replied," No! "By Allah in whose Hands my life is, these are for the men who believed in Allah and also believed in the Apostles."(4.478, Bukhari)
Gold and silver paradises:
As per Bukhari 9.536, "Narrated Abdullah bin Qais; The Prophet said, "(There will be) two Paradises of silver and all the utensils and whatever is therein (will be of silver); and two Paradises of gold, and its utensils and whatever therein (will be of gold), and there will be nothing to prevent the people from seeing their Lord except the Cover of Majesty over His Face in the Paradise of Eden (eternal bliss)."
Pavilion in paradise:
As per Bukhari 6.402. Narrated Abdullah bin Qais, Allah's Apostle said, "In Paradise there is a pavilion made of a single hollow pearl sixty miles wide, in each corner of which there are wives who will not see those in the other corners; and the believers will visit and enjoy them. And there are two gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of silver; and two other gardens, the utensils and contents of which are made of so-and-so (i.e. gold) and nothing will prevent the people staying in the Garden of Eden from seeing their Lord except the curtain of Majesty over His Face."
The kauthr, reservoir
As per Tirmidhi 1465, Narrated Thawban, The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "My reservoir is like the distance between Aden and Amman in al-Balqa'. Its water is whiter than milk and sweeter than honey, and its cups are as numerous as the stars in the sky. He who takes one drink of it will never thirst thereafter. The first to come down to it will be the poor emigrants, those with dishevelled heads and dirty clothes, who do not marry delicate women and do not have doors opened for them." ----Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is a gharib tradition.
A small place in paradise
Narrated Anas: The Prophet said, "A single endeavor (of fighting) in Allah's cause in the afternoon or in the forenoon is better than all the world and whatever is in it. A place in Paradise as small as the bow or lash of one of you is better than all the world and whatever is in it. And if a houri from Paradise appeared to the people of the earth, she would fill the space between Heaven and the Earth with light and pleasant scent and her head cover is better than the world and whatever is in it."
By virtue of our good deeds with Allah's mercy:
Besides, we will get more than what we deserve (Q10:26). Then Allah will tell the people of paradise that "You have inherited this paradise by virtue of your good deeds"( 43:72). Besides, Allah says in the Quran 2:82, "As for those who believe and do good deeds, they will be the residents of Paradise and live there forever."
Thanking Allah: The people of paradise will exclaim: Praise be to Allah Who guided us this way, we would have never found the Right Way if Allah had not guided us. The Rasools of our Rabb have surely preached us the truth." At that time they will hear the announcement: "This is paradise, which you have inherited because of your good deeds."(7:432). Besides, they will say: "Praise be to Allah Who has removed all sorrow from us; Our Rabb is indeed Forgiving and appreciative of His devotees(Q35:33)
